2 inch add a leafs, new leaf pack and shackles in the rear done. New wheels and tires. Still gotta add the 2 inch pucks up front. Huge PIA. All 4 leaf spring bolts broke. Lots of welding, cutting and swearing finally got it done.

Flushed my coolant loop this past weekend. Threw a bottle of radiator flush in and cycled it, then drain and fill about 5 times with distilled water. Ended up doing the heater valve delete too. I think it was clogged up because feeling the hoses on the heater core connections were lukewarm with the valve, and nice and hot without. Heat works much better now. I've got a trans cooler and a new fan clutch in my future though.

I have been scratching my head quite a bit over these side mirrors.
On this 86 model the stock mirrors have been replaced by these general purpose mirrors but it has these plastic triangles that perfectly snap and screw in place of the original mirrors.
So does anybody know was this a factory option by any chance?

Out here enjoying all the looks and double takes. And before you all say I took structure out of the chassis it does have frame stiffeners welded in and will soon have 2x4 steel rockers/rock sliders.

I’m reinstalling my dash and i’ve gotten to everything but these three. I also put my battery on and my 150A fuse popped. Anyone know why?

I think I got the wrong filter size. I have a 1987 Cherokee I6 4L. Any suggestions?

Just bought this ‘94 138k miles and it’s making this very very loud noise when accelerating going over 25 miles an hour. Also happens when breaking somewhat hard.

Please help me decipher what is making this noise so I can fix it.

I'm not even entirely sure how to lay this all out. I was driving home today and noticed that it almost felt like I was driving on a gravel road or something; lots of new shaking while driving. Additional symptoms that popped up;

* Burning rubber smell blowing in from the vents.

* The engine feels like it's chugging particularly hard.

* Maintaining 45mph required 2000 RPMs and getting up to speed felt like I had to bottom out the pedal just to get to the 30s.

* Whenever I brake, the vehicle pulls slightly to the right.

As I have next to no experience working on cars or driving XJs, I have essentially no clue what's going on. Last time there was a burning smell I ended up need my entire cooling system replaced.

I would greatly appreciate any help or theories. Thank you!

just installed champion spark plugs, k suspension viper coil pack and wires, and k suspension remanufactured 4 port injectors. Now when I start the car it idles rough and there’s a clunking sound I can hear and feel under the floorboards. Anybody have idea why this would be happening

Just replaced all 6 spark plugs to coppers. Drove it around all day no issues. Started and stopped fine multiple times.

Parked it overnight. Came out this morning and it’s completely dead. No accessory power. No clicking or sounds of the starter engaging. Turned the key this morning and completely dead. No cranks no lights nothing.

I bought a new headlamp the night before and came out at night to test it out. I know I walked around the jeep and nothing was left on or out of the ordinary.

Charged the battery, cleaned the terminals, nothing. Battery is only a few months old. Never had any issues with parasite draw.

Anybody know what’s up?
