What’s everyone getting for MPG’s out there in the V6’s? This was along a 400 mile road trip, a lot of up & down going through the forest. Cruise control almost always under 70 (California Rural Highway so speed limit sucks lol). Definitely felt like if I was on the road longer it might’ve got a touch better. I live in the city so it was nice to watch for awhile.

Hi so I'm replacing the stock SXT wheel with a Scatpack heated one. I have the clock spring etc. My question is I'm trying to get this bolt out using regular brute force and it's turning the steering wheel, but the front wheels aren't turning. Is this causing any damage to the steering column or anything else? I don't have an impact, I've just got the hand ratchet. I feel like if I fight I can get it off but I don't know what issues that will create for me.

I have a 2019 SXT with the Pentastar engine and 80K miles.
A couple months ago the check engine light came on and I was told it was the thermostat. Took it to a chain mechanic shop and they fixed it, but also pointed out that the oil cooler was cracked because Dodge decided to use plastic. So I had them fix that as well.
They screwed up and the main fuel line came loose on top of the intake manifold. Towed back to the same place and they corrected it. But I still smelled gas, so I took it to the dealership. Turns out the first shop let gas get on the seal and caused it to swell.
Dealership got everything done the right way, but ever since starts have been a bit rough, idle has some vibration, and while running at speed is smoother, it's not the silky smooth run it once was. I'd asked the dealership if the plugs should be replaced and a tune-up done, but they said it wouldn't be necessary for another 20k.
So I thought it might be a good idea to ask the community for opinions from those who have more experience than I do with this engine. I welcome your input.

I saw a regular RT, slim body, with a scat hood the other day. I always thought the stock RT hood matched the lines better but it looked pretty decent and now I’m thinking about it.
Anyone else do this? Any pics?
Saw an OEM off a scat near me in NJ and think I might pull the trigger.

Hey everyone. Im wondering how pretty decent the base Dodge Charger with the 3.6 Pentastar v6 are. Are they pretty reliable? Would love to own a Charger since I have a very big heart for Mopar. I would love to own one so I can be able to go out and go on adventures. As a crown vic owner, I am getting tired of not fixing the issues it has, since im "on the road" meaning running errands and helping my friends and relatives out and barely having time to work on the vic. Im really wondering if these Chargers are capable on doing so. I really appreciate your inputs and I hope all of you are doing well!

I recently traded a 2018 scat pack for a 2026 scat pack.
On my first long highway trip I noticed a vibration associated noise coming from what sounds like the front passenger side near the windshield/dash when I went over bumps or went over some of less smooth sections of the road. After exiting the highway I began hearing it when going over rumble strips in town.
Today, I hear the noise when just driving around town. It seems to occur roughly between 2200-2900 rpm.
The noise sounds almost like static and is only present when under load.
I have an appointment with the dealership on Monday. I've never had good luck with mechanics diagnosing annoying noises unless they were related to suspension or brake components.
I'm wondering if any other 8th Gen owners have experienced anything like this.

For whoever owns a scatpack, wb scatpack, or hellcat, what do you pay in insurance? I’ve found some 2015-2016 hellcats with around 50k miles clean title for $40-50k. My only wonder is how much the insurance is on those, I’ll still probably end up getting a scatpack instead to be safer when I do decide to get a car but I’m curious what the average insurance cost is. So if you don’t mind sharing that would be great 👍

Car is a 2011 RT AWD, 78k miles. I know enough to be anxious about it, but admittedly not enough to differentiate between whether this ticking noise is an exhaust leak, lifters, or maybe even just my loud ass 5.7 fuel injectors (lol). All help appreciated. Thanks!

I have a leak in my car. I have had the sunroof drained by the mechanic. This picture is after it rained today. I felt around and thought it may be coming from the circled area. The mechanic couldn’t find anything and told me to bring it back when it happened (raining) so I’m taking it today or tomorrow. What do you think it could be?
Could it be door seals?
Cowl?
AC drain?

Stellantis conspicuously absent from the list. If there were any brains working in the stellantis offices, they would have dropped the EV chargers price tag to $50K and gotten with the fucking program. There won't be better opportunity to clear that inventory and get people actually driving those things. Stellantis really is a dumpster fire.

I am looking to increase the sound of my car while keeping Cabin drone to 0. I daily my car so having cabin drone is a big no go for me. What are the best options to make it louder while still persevering the hemi v8 sound?

My Charger has some sort of rattle noise when I hit the gas pedal. It doesn't happen at idle or if I'm at speed and come off the gas. It sounds the same if I'm going downhill without giving it gas
Anyone know what this could be? ~52k miles, oil changed the other week.

This has been a terrible year for my 2014. I've been dealing with a mouse infestation. I cleared out the nest, caught 7, vacuumed 2 up at the carwash and chased one out. I paid $450 for detailing and ozone and hear I am dealing with one more. It seems to be running back and forth between the trunk and the cabin. How can I keep mice from getting in?
It's looking like I'll have to strip the interior and get the detailer to come back. Has anyone dealt with this?

I test drove a used 2023 Daytona 392 yesterday. I really liked the car and of course the engine but a couple things caught my eye.
1) It's three years old and has had two owners already. I didn't see the Carfax myself but the salesman said there were no reported wrecks or unusual repair activity and vehicle maintenance does appear to have been done. Not sure if this is a valid concern or not.
2) I suspect the windshield may have been replaced even though he said the Carfax doesn't show it. The rubber strip across the outside bottom of the windsheld (where the wipers mount) was bubbled out in areas. It wasn't flush against the windshield all the way across. Additionally, there was a white sticker on the outside driver's side of the windshield with a couple of barcodes and it said Made in Vietnam. Is that normal?
