So iv been a ps3 gamer since 2022 I always wanted to be on Playstation since I was a kid but all my friends where Xbox. But I remember the summer of BO2 and that was probably the best summer of my gaming life. But now with the ports out and everyone playing them I want to play them so bad but dont have a ps4 or ps5. It feels even if its a little that the summer of black ops is back and im missing out. Iv been so tempted to max out my credit card just to play them. I know I can play them on ps3 but its just not the same waiting sometimes 20mins between games or no one on at all. So just wondering is it feel as good as it was? Does the magic feel back?

I have so many good memories in this map. They should have remastered it to one of the new cods.

I’m 28 years old, and CoD really hasn’t been the same for a while. The BO2 port on PS5 is fun. The last CoD I actually liked from the company was Cold War. I’m more of a BO2–MW3 player. I’ve heard BO3 was solid. Did I miss out?

Is the ps4 version for BO1 and BO2 still the way to go for lowest latency after the updates?

Why is there morning but 1000 flying drones and juggernauts in Warzone, this is one of those worst things they’ve ever done to the game. Guess I’ll have to go back playing BF6 again….

I just finished the campaign (which I did thousands of times back in the day) and I still find crazy that the developers said at some point “okay, we got a bunch of thousands of dollars left for the game’s budget, what should we do?”…

…and some dude thought that getting Avenged F**king Sevenfold to play a song alongside Woods and Menéndez as the post credit scene, starring almost every character of the campaign as the public with a bunch of cameos and easter eggs from the franchise, was the best idea. And it was. I wish they gave that guy a bonus. F**king legend.

I am a PC gamer that had MW2 as my first ever CoD on the Xbox 360. I played over 200 days total on MW2, BO1, MW3, and BO2 combined. They are my favorite games ever. With that said, I haven't owned a console in almost ten years. I really am getting major FOMO with the black ops ports. The idea of everyone restarting at zero, no hackers, slightly better performance, and modern controllers sounds incredible. Is it worth it for $600-$700 for a PS5 plus a headset? I have gen 4 astros so I would need a new headset to play on the playstation.

I am concerned about the ports having major issues with player count and hackers in a year's time. If the games are hacked to pieces and/or have hardly any playerbase with just TDM lobbies filling in a year, it's not worth it.

Does anyone have valid information regarding if the devs/publisher intend on keeping the integrity of the game safe? Will these ports be playable in a year's time?

Obviously the strategy guide was Printed before the final game was released. It seems early on, they did intended to have Pro perks return in Black ops 2. They likely got cut, as the Pick 10 system would've made Pro perks unbalanced. The Cawl was also considered as a score streak. It was likely removed, as the maps aren't built for large Tank like vehicles.

Decided to buy the ports due to nostalgia reason, had a lot of fun with BO1 so I moved to BO2 multiplayer. First round I get into, no enemy team. Planted the bombs round 1 and spun around in circles, 2nd round I just went prone and did something else while the timer expired. I heard the ports were bad, but I didn’t know they were THIS bad. Never had this happen to me before back when BO2 first came out.

At first I thought it was a strong dislike people have towards DLC maps that made them leave the lobbies, but now it just seems strange. For the last 15 minutes I've been trying to find a proper lobby since whenever random settles on a DLC map more than half the people in the lobby disappear instantly. Could it be because they don't own the season pass?

I do get some DLC games sometimes but they are few and far between...
