My Mum (early 70s) recently moved to Calgary to be closer to us- we have lived here since 2011. She is physically active and very open to new experiences- looking for suggestions on communities for her to make new friends and social connections- she already goes to city of Calgary fitness classes and has joined a 55+ club but I think is missing conversation groups. Would love any ideas or suggestions - she does not drive but lives by the train and is comfortable with transit and uber.

I think her meeting 2-3 women in a similar position where they can meet up weekly and hang out would be the ticket.
