Hi everyone!
Iβm heading to San Pedro tomorrow and am planning to do a snorkeling trip to Caye Caulker on Sunday. Iβve read that the weather in Belize can be pretty unpredictable, and right now the forecast is showing showers.
Do snorkel tours usually still go out if itβs raining, or are they often canceled because of the weather? Iβd like to book my excursion in advance to make sure I get a spot, but Sunday is the only day I can go, so I wouldnβt be able to reschedule if itβs canceled.
For those who have been recently or live there, would you book ahead anyway, or wait until the day of to see what the weather does?
Thanks in advance!

My family and I are looking for a peaceful place to spend a few days during our upcoming December trip to Belize. Weβll be in Hopkins for a few days and then I wanted to head to an island to spend some time snorkeling and fishing. Tobacco Caye looks amazing and I found a place with availability for our dates. My only hesitation is, with the island being so small and right before Christmas being high season for tourists will it be overly crowded? Anyone spend any time on Tobacco Caye in mid-December and have any experience with what the island is like then?
