I love this game & how far it’s come! I think not adding dynamic weather or at the least different time of day settings was a miss especially seeing how awesome these maps looked in portal with night time settings too

Battlefield 6 I love Tsuru Reef, but getting stuck at spawn because there's not enough vehicles is lame

We need some jetskis or something. If you spawn in a couple of seconds after everyone else you just have to redeploy or face a 5 minute swim and walk

Battlefield 6 Both teams having the same boat model is terrible: half of the time I need to shoot at my teammates to know if they are are not my enemy because guess what? BLUE Icons blend with sky and water...

EDIT: I know I can change colours of the icons but its not my job to fix their game. I dont want to play with purple Icons everywhere and I shouldnt be forced to do that. Its just a bad game design like sight reticles. We didnt have this problem in any other bf game guess why? Because every team had their unique boat model. When people complain about the shit visibility/reticles beeing too dark, why didnt you tell them to just raise their monitor brightness to 200%? This would solve the problem right

Sometimes there is no way to distinguish them because the icons blend with the water and the sky. Seriously, they didn't even try. They could have done ANYTHING, give PAX a yellow flag and NATO a blue one, change the front of the boat, fucking anything but no, its just copy and paste.

Pax boats have a yellow markings and guess what? They disappear when you apply ANY camo so its useless anyway. When you change the camo on PAX boat then you get a NATO model boat with numbers on side instead of PAX markings.

Its just another blackhawk situation where in certain cituations you dont know if its enemy or ally which is a problem too because there are 4 of them on this map.

Battlefield 6 I like Tsuru Reef but whoever made breakthrough on this map needs to be fired.

I really like Tsuru reef, on any mode other than breakthrough.

First of all who thought that 24v24 BT on the biggest map is a good idea?

Second funneling the whole attacking team through two chokepoints? What could go wrong i wonder....

It had so much potential and it all went straight down the toilet.

Battlefield 6 The attack boat is seriously underpowered

Post image

I came here expecting a tank on rudders like BF4, instead it's a garbage truck made of paper. Handles terribly, can be destroyed by just about anything and isn't even particularly powerful to make up for it.

autocannon: low dmg (22 on direct hit), low RoF, low accuracy. it would always be a challenge hitting stuff while bobbing up and down but they also made it tickle infantry and vehicles (specially vehicles, you have to spend half a minute to kill one of those armored jeep, while it shreds you)

torpedoes: kinda fun initially, to guide and also to avoid. but they can be shot out which kinda ruins your only "big" ordinance

missiles: I really hoped we would have better stuff to unlock than a fucking lmg and a auto guided tow. both bc one is too weak and the other is too strong, it's passive radar from BF4 but it acquires the lock by itself. no atgm, no tv missile, no regular tows. nope just a AA slot

mortar: it's such a gimmick I barely wanna write anything about it. who thought this was a good idea? a mortar on a bobbing, weaving, moving platform? please just let us have minigun gunners again, and the repair seat...

...especially bc the boat is made of paper. a single minigun/turret/hmg can kill you faster than you can dmg them. might as well call it unarmored cuz it sure feels weaker than that tanky af jeep they spam here. and you barely have anywhere to run/hide from infantry who decide to target you with laws/at4s/javelins. mainly javelins, which 2 shot this thing. not to mention the choppers. one good burst from a transport leaves you on in the red. and the little bird just vaporizes you out of existence. you're just a free kill for anyone

the only mild success you can find with this thing is sit away from the action and act as a AA platform using the heavy mg and the busted auto AA, while some poor guy clicks on the minimap and hopes to kill someone with the mortar. I really wish they didn't make it so you have to be "landed" on the beach to act as a spawn for the team. it was one of the best features of the boat and they made it so you'll barely ever be able to use it

also as a side note, using this on escalation is pretty awkward with how the points it can actually help with are the first to go as the match progresses. rant over ig

Battlefield 6 People who complain that the new maps is "Too big" have **clearly** never played battlefield before.

Battlefield 2, 2142, 3, 4, hardline, and 1 have always had MASSIVE maps in the past and I'm tired of low attention span players who complain that they aren't getting the CQC games that they want.

Large maps like this are what made battlefield what it is.

Go play redsec of CoD if you want CQC and stop whining.

Seriously, give it a try; it's a great mid-range gun. Amazing accuracy, decent ROF, and sexy AUG aesthetic. Feels like one of the few ARs that can properly utilize multiple loadouts instead of relying on a single decent build.

đŸ‘Ÿ Issue/Bug đŸ‘Ÿ I think DICE should finally get rid of the forced HQ spawn. Tsuru Reef highlights how bad for gameplay it is

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

If you aren't fast enough to get a boat, you're stranded in HQ with no vehicle. In Battlefield V they got rid of the auto deployment at the round start, why hasn't this been changed in BF6 yet?

It's less of a pain on maps like Cairo or Contaminated because the first flags are considerably nearer to each HQ but with Tsuru Reef, you gotta swim like 3 minutes before you get to some action. Or redeploy, wasting a ticket.

Something gotta change, this cannot stay like this.

Battlefield 6 people expect to be one-man armies against vehicles

I’ve been playing Battlefield for a long time, and something I’ve noticed with Battlefield 6 is that I’ve never seen this many complaints about vehicles in any other BF game. Tanks, helicopters, jets, it feels like every day there’s another post saying they’re overpowered.

The strange part is that, vehicles are actually weaker in BF6 than they’ve been in any previous Battlefield. They have more counters than ever, and they’re easier to destroy than they’ve ever been. Yet people still complain.

Vehicles have always been one of the core pillars of Battlefield. If they had no impact and every infantry player could delete them effortlessly, they wouldn’t really serve a purpose.

I think the biggest issue is that a lot of people expect to be able to deal with every vehicle completely on their own.

I’m not saying infantry shouldn’t be able to kill vehicles by themselves. They absolutely should when the situation is in their favor. If a tank drives past without checking its surroundings and someone gets two rear shots, that tank deserves to die. If a helicopter gets caught hovering and eats a well placed RPG or M136, that’s a deserved kill too.

What I don’t agree with is the expectation that every infantry player should be able to reliably beat every vehicle in almost every situation without needing help from teammates.

Take helicopters, since they’re probably the most complained about vehicle.

I constantly see people saying lock ons are useless because they don’t guarantee kills or even consistent hits. Or because below radar exists. But lock ons are area denial. Their job is to force flares, force pilots behind cover, or force them below radar. Once they’re low, they’re much more vulnerable to RPGs, M136s, small arms fire, mobile AA, stationary AA, or even another aircraft. Additionally, painting negates below radar - it’s only fair that lock ons only become extremely effective once some teamwork comes into play.

Not every tool is supposed to be a guaranteed kill by itself.

Apart from that, there are bugs where lock ons can ignore flares, especially with the Igla, which actually makes them stronger than they need to be. That should absolutely be fixed, but that’s a separate discussion.

People also forget that lock ons are stronger than they’ve ever been in terms of range. In Battlefield 6 they reach out to 650 meters. In Battlefield 4 they only reached around 350 meters, and those maps were generally much larger than the maps we have now. So I really don’t think it’s fair to say lock ons are weak.

The M136 is another example. I know people disagree with this, but I honestly think it’s one of the strongest launchers Battlefield has ever had. It’s fast, easy to learn, and once you’ve spent a bit of time with it, hitting helicopters becomes surprisingly consistent.

The Little Bird is another vehicle that gets called overpowered all the time, but I honestly think it’s the weakest it’s ever been in any Battlefield game.

It gets shredded by small arms, vehicle gunners, mobile AA, stationary AA, and pretty much anything firing bullets. Stationary AA deletes it almost instantly. Mobility hits are induced so extremely fast to air vehicles, especially the little bird. And oh boy are they brutal, you go into a death spin.

The only ‘nerfs’ I’d make to the little bird are to the rocket pods and the grenade launcher against vehicles. The rocket pods are too forgiving and don’t really fit what I think the Little Bird should be. The grenade launchers are far too strong against tanks and other helicopters.

I’d rather see the Little Bird lean into a high skill ceiling. Give it a minigun with much lower spread that actually rewards precise aim instead of relying on wide spread and close range, that would make it harder to use since you would have to be very accurate - but it would also allow for some mastery and the ability to play from longer range than 50 metres, which would be needed if rocket pods are removed. I’d also like to see AGMs as a loadout option so it has some way to contribute against armor without becoming an anti tank farming machine. The grenade launcher does too much damage against vehicles though, so like I said that needs some tuning.

The attack helicopter is another example.

Yes, the gunner seat is strong. I don’t think many people would argue otherwise. But the pilot seat has already been hit with some pretty heavy nerfs. The heavy rocket pods against infantry are honestly hilarious now. Usually it takes multiple heavy rockets just to kill one infantry player. The helicopter itself also flies like a boat compared to the and still dies to a single M136. Most of the time the only way to get real value out of it is by flying almost entirely for your gunner.

Personally, I enjoy games with a meaningful skill ceiling and a real skill gap.

Before anyone says, “Battlefield is a casual game,” I agree that Battlefield is casual overall. That doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t have a high skill ceiling.

If we look at Battlefield 4, which I’d argue is at least one of the top three Battlefield games ever made, it had a huge skill ceiling. That applied to infantry, vehicles, flying, tanking, and even countering vehicles. There was always room to improve, and good players stood out because they had actually mastered the mechanics.

I’d like to see Battlefield 6 move more in that direction.

I don’t think every weapon or gadget needs to be equally effective in every situation, and I don’t think every player should be able to solve every problem alone. Battlefield has always been at its best when different players bring different tools, work together, and when mastering those tools actually matters. That’s what creates memorable moments, and I think that’s something worth preserving.

Battlefield 6 The problem with Chinese players on EU servers

Post image
301 Upvotes

I bought the game around last season, and in 240 hours of play, I haven't played a single game without Chinese cheaters and ping abusers. While these scammers are destroying EU servers, this game is simply unplayable. Why isn't EA saying anything about the Chinese problem? I understand this isn't the first Reddit post with similar content, but this is going too far. I don't think I'll buy another EA game or spend another $1 on MTX. As long as the developer lets them have fun with cheats and ping abuse, I'm done with this crap game for crap eaters.
