Hello, autumn people! 🍂 I've made a list of my favorite witchy books, movies, TV shows, and songs and they're all wickedly good!!!

Books:

1. Chocolat by Joanne Harris- I love this book so much. It gave me the coziest feelings. If you like small towns, found family, and Practical Magic, give this one a go!
2. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna- A cozy romance with an amazing found family.
3. Cackle by Rachel Harrison- Quite spooky, and one of the witchiest books I've ever read.
4. Season of the Witch by Sarah Rees Brennan - Based on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but written really well. It;s super witchy and autumnal.
5. The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling- I remember this book fondly, but not many details. When I checked my notes, I saw I'd written, "Taylor Swift vibes" whatever that means...😂
6. In the Company of Witches by Auralee Wallace- A bit like a blend of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Gilmore Girls.
7. The Little Witch by M. Rickert - Perfect for Halloween and easy to read in a day. It's only about 30 pages long.

A few more books I think sound amazing and can't wait to read: A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, Between by L. L. Starling, The Witching Hour by Anne Rice.

TV Shows:

1. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and/or Sabrina the Teenage Witch - Chilling Adventures is spookier and more autumnal, while the older version is just cute.
2. Charmed (1998)
3. Salem (2014)- Really scary and unsettling imo.
4. The Secret Circle (2011)- Seaside town, witches, drama. Love the books too, even tho they are not great.
5. American Horror Story: Seasons 3 and 8. Can be watched as stand alones!
6. Cursed (2020)- Not strictly about witches, but it has magic and is a retelling of the Arthurian legend. I loved this show so much.
7. The Worst Witch (1998)- It has some similarities to Harry Potter from what I remember.

Movies:

Besides the classics like Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, and Practical Magic:

1. The Covenant (2006)- I love this movie so much! A group of male witches (warlocks??) are trying to protect their secret. It has elements of dark academia and is kind of like The Craft.
2. The Craft (1996).
3. The Witch (2015)- Horror
4. Halloweentown (1998)
5. Beautiful Creatures (2013)- Cheesy, but I really like it. It's based on a book series
6. Dark Shadows (2012)- The main character is a vampire, but it also has a prominent witch character and it's really funny.
7. The Blair Witch Project (1999) - Horror

Graphic Novels: The Witch Boy by Molly Knox Ostertag, The Okay Witch by Emma Steinkellner, Wytches by Scott Snyder.

Songs: Witchy tunes

It's still July, and I don't wanna bust out the fall decor or start reading/watching autumnal things, so I'm making lists🤷.

hi guys! im looking for some video games recs for games that are either fall themed/use the season as a backdrop. i’ll play just about anything so please suggest anything and everything that comes to mind. ty in advance!

Just the beauty of some blooms in Autumn

It's crept into my first month of Autumn for the last few years.

It's the first month we start to see the harvests come in.

It's the first month with a dip in temps against the averages. (I'm in Syracuse NY, so your mileage may vary.)

We start noticing nature preparing for the cold season, some summer birds start migrating...

It's just a lovely beginning to things. I think.

Fall is coming... 🍂🍁🍃

I just got my first apartment with my partner and fall is both of our favorite seasons right next to winter and hobby lobby had a 40% off fall decorations already so I went and decorated our front door already lol.

Between getting weird stares from my neighbors through the ring and my parents saying I’m way too early I’ve never felt happier for summer to be over already.

I have a fireplace too which I plan to decorate but I know it’s already super early so I think just my front door is fine for now. When do you guys usually start decorating for autumn?

For all my fall lovers and cozy gamers. Not sure if you’re aware of the new preview available that should be coming in September. It’s basically the autumn update and it’s spectacular.
