Question / Inquiry Pipe Routing Inventor vs Solid Works
I've been a Solid Works user for.... ever. I use pipe routing on nearly a daily basis creating things from simple 1" pipe routes to 60" plate rolled pipe for water mains and everything in between. If you have any experience with SW Routing you know how powerful it is and also how absolute dogs*** it can be at times. There's not a lot out there for Inventors pipe routing, but it looks like there's already a decent library of parts built in and SEEMS like some things may be easier to accomplish. I'd like to hear it from someone who uses it regularly. How good is it really? Specs, Spooling, Custom fittings, change management, fabrication drawings... is it worthwhile?
