Yes I like pleasing God,but the sound of living for enternaty sounds boring and not good to me.

Like to me death is blessing,if God showed mercy and said you can spend in heaven I would ask can you put me dead forever.

statistically speaking, that’s probably where they’ll end up. you will be responsible for creating a being who is going to be tortured for eternity. so the only reasonable course of action here is to not have kids. because why risk it? it is the most immoral thing in the world to summon a person so they face god’s (probably unfavorable) judgement.

I have always heard people say that they have given their worries and frustrations to God, but what does that really mean? I overthink a lot so much so I’ll stay up late at night thinking. I am feeling very drawn to Christianity, I believe in god and want to live a biblical life and raise my children with those values.

However, my wife was raised Catholic and hated it, she still hates religion.... a lot!

I am worried about how I put her mind at ease and get her to at least let me raise our children biblically.

Any thoughts or helpful advice would be very much appreciated.

I remember at the age of 3 my mom doing a bible study with me and explaining that everyone had sinned including me. She then told me that Jesus was the only way I could be forgiven and I told her that I wanted forgiveness so she led me to the Lord.

I grew up praying and trying to be a good Christian always helping in Church and never doubted being Saved.

When I was 12 I heard the Gospel again and realized how brutal it was and asked God to forgive me and give my self over to Him but I truly believe before hand I was saved

Now I hear people saying that a childhood confession might be a false security in Jesus. I believe in the Gospel and regularly ask for forgiveness of my sins and try and walk the straight and narrow but was my childhood confession in vain?

Let's say I am walking with me Christian gf or just friends and she or they get jumped by robbers or thugs that want to rape them or hurt them.

Is it sin to defend,even if it means hurting the oppressors.

Is it sin to physically defend them or should I just watch it and let it happen.

I saw in my KJV Bible it says: "My soul shall make her boast in the Lord" so as it's said later on we as the church are the bride of Christ so are all men and women considered females in God's eyes? since I've heard God has no grown folks in heaven we are all gods children?

My husband claims to be a Christian man but he follows stuff about so called "twin flames". He believes he has a connection with a coworker. He looks her up on social media all the time. Somehow he thinks that because he cannot keep her out of his mind it is a sign she and him are connected.

I am very hurt because I believe in marriage the way the Bible says. I dont believe Jesus would intend on someone else getting my husbands attention when he's married to me.
