This is a widespread glitch that many players have gotten recently and has first been reported about 3 days ago. You open Animal Jam (play wild) and find the whole game has changed to Russian. You no longer can log in and it requires you to enter your username and password in Russian characters, which is impossible. In parent tools, many players have said that the pop-up for changing languages just doesn’t show up at all, which is extremely strange. It only affects one account and alts should fine.

And no, it does NOT only affect IPad or IOS users, it ALSO affects PCs and Laptops.

With all the current information I have found, there is no fix to this glitch. AJHQ has been notified and is aware of it, if you experience it I would still tell them since they need to know how big of an impact this glitch actually is.

Is it a glitch? It has two main possibilities, hackers or a glitch. Hopefully this IS a glitch and is easily fixed by the support team. Evidence does lean towards being a bug because I don‘t think anybody has reported their items being missing (after looking at their main account with an alt).

It is very weird that it goes to Russian because on parent controls you don’t see an option for that language.

This does not only affect Play Wild, it’s only the Russian part that does. I’ve seen many players say that Classic is stuck on the loading screen and cannot log in either. Which supports the chance that it‘s definitely a bug since hackers most likely would not know your classic account connected to the same parent tools.

Not to say I’m ungrateful, but the 90% of my gifts were low effort salesman items (the ones for gems), rims, or crystals.
Just sucks since I did good this year for gifting and actually gave good stuff and matched what people wanted whereas I got default variants of what I collect (rim or salesman versions) when I said party, side, corrupt or purified versions OR anything in the colours I listed
Just makes me disappointed since I was excited. I don’t think I will be doing gifting again since this was so disappointing

A little history
Aggrix from what I know is connected to or an alt of Hyena1 (AJ and AJC player in the early days of the game that would go after children)
He is also controversial for the approved art he has. Especially on AJC with depictions of fire weapons.

Gladly they have long ago left and have been banned by Aj

The reason I bought these is to recycle them, because a person like that doesn’t not deserve to have their art in a game full of children even if the art has nothing against the AJ rules

I am sure if AJ could they would black out aggrix’s masterpieces, but they cannot do anything about old art.

If you have art by aggrix or hyena1 I strongly advice to recycle it. If you feel bad, like it’s a part of AJ history for you, just screenshot it and then recycle it.

before I knew anything about this guy I was a big fan of his giant masterblocks together with another artist. I was very inspired to build my own giant ones. I felt so horrible learning who aggrix was, but I will still keep building, because I want to fill aj with fun and positive art. My dream is to have a shop full of giant cool masterblocks and other art everyone loves.

These was most of the gifts I opened yesterday, this truly upsets me bc of the simple fact I spent over 60k on everyone making sure everyone that gifted me "from my wishlist" got something off of theirs. I tried my best to make sure everyone got something they wanted and this was what i got.... I am not looking to be gifted I just needed to talk about this.. bc this isnt okay... It just actually makes me sad and mad at the same time.

I was pretty busy leading up to now so I didn’t get to go around gifting people before the gifts became openable. So it’s just what I’m thinking about lately. I’ve been playing animal jam for a few years now and always loved to participate in gifting things - especially to Christmas. I’ve had a break for around a year before I lately returned to aj and then the gifting picnics came out. Ofc I wanted to gift again.. but when I spoke to people or read beneath posts there are wishes that are crazy- I mean.. wishing for beta stuff, wrc/wc, things out of shop etc.. I mean- I love gifting but no. I’m not going to gift you my dizzy stars?
So am I simply too selfish or see this absolutely wrong? I know it’s not forced so I don’t need to gift these but I also would have never asked in my life for expensive things to get giftet?

I participated in a few posts on here for gifting baskets. I made sure to buy things off their WL and I didn’t mind dropping a couple hundred saps on everyone I was gifting back. I got nice gifts from two people but the other people gifted me crystals and fossils which really sucks because I took my time to buy something I know they’d enjoy. I know I can’t expect everyone to gift me back something insanely nice but to give someone something a lot of people in this game consider garbage feels gross and intentionally malicious :/ this didn’t happen to me with the Christmas gifting fortunately but the greed is real this time around lol.

Especially on bidding posts, half the time people won’t list a starting bid or say things like “looking for an offer I’m happy with”. What is a good offer to you? Do you worth that item at 5k or 50k? It’s different if you don’t know what you worth your item at so you’re looking for inquiries, but if you sound like you sort of know what you want but don’t actually say it, I’m offering 5 sapphires. Normalize actually being specific instead of waiting for someone to ask what you worth the item at.

I have my display cases on the second and third floor filled with clothing I collect. I also like effect clothing like corrupt, light side and such. I love styling on AJ, I have some animal model’s displayed in my den as well! :D

i have been desperate for a playable pig character and i saw that i could suggest animals that id like to see in the next rotation. so of course, my annoying self has been typing pig into the suggestion box every time i come online. i became very passionate about becoming a pig after seeing someone run around as the pig character. i love it. do they actually see what people type into the suggestions or is it like a poll kind of thing? sorry if this the wrong flair

I just laughed, I wasn't even grinding for Alpha Chests or anything, I just started clicking shovels moderately more often in hopes of finding Sapphire potions.

I owe a lot to Alpha Chests. I exploited them to death in late 2023 during the Alpha Chest Gold Rush, smartest thing I ever did. Somebody's gotta remember that time.
