Second post about my alternate history scenario! This time we're going over the independent Florida Republic, a very long Florida indeed. Due to France being unable to sell Louisiana to the United States (because there isn't really an United States) the territory passed back to Spain, and then after, to Mexico. We will talk about Mexico some other time, what's important in the scenario is, the Floridas became Mexican property as well. Shortly after Mexican independence, the Floridas, influenced by the Thirteen republics to the north, declared independence from Mexico, and united as a single republic, Mexico, not yet being able to properly handle all this vast land it was given, decided to grant the small republic its independence after some border skirmishes, birthing the Florida Republic. Essentially in 2008 the world does an interstellar and by 2021 they become content with dying sooner or later. Blue Oyster was the last satellite launched by humanity and it failed, until 13 years later when it turns back on.

Sort of like an ARG at times, a web-series, a visual novel, interactive fiction. A mix of sorts, maybe a game at times? Idk if it fits the criteria, but I made it within a day - atleast up to chapter 1.

1861: the emancipation of the serfs actually emancipates them, leading to the Russian revolution being small.

1918: Germany becomes a Constitutional Monarchy after the Great War, and the Naval Mutiny that lead to the November Revolution is crushed

1939: WW2 doesn’t happen, leading to the concept of a Second World War being like the concept of WW3 OTL

I have been a bit curious about Axis Victory Scenarios that are regarded as low-quality or god-awful since the more famous Axis Victory Scenarios (Like TNO or Thousand Week Reich) seem to be pretty good at making the trope work. What are examples of Axis Victory Scenarios that you feel are low-quality or cartoonish?

What would it look like, after the American Revolution, War of 1812, Manifest Destiny, Mexican–American War, etc., in two World Wars, the Cold War and Modern–day politics in the Modern–day world (pre–2000s)?

Norman Anthony Bates was born on October 16, 1932 in Ulysses, Kansas to Samuel John Bates Norma Albert Bates (maiden name Hitchcock). Bates was raised in rural Kansas in a low income household. When the Dust Bowl hit Kansas, the Bates family fled west from their home. With very little money, the family arrived in California in 1936. Norman‘s father, Samuel Bates, opened Bates Motel in 1943 after spending 7 years as an engineer. Samuel Bates ran the hotel until his death in 1949. The death of Samuel drove Norman Bates’ mind on the road to insanity. He started to have violent fantasies about killing any person that came to mind. In 1953, Bates murdered his mother Norma Bates after she said he could not take over the motel. He put his mothers’ body in the basement of his house. Norman took over the motel and kept it somewhat stable for the next 6 years. In December of 1959, Bates murdered motel guest Marion Crane and Fairvale Police Officer Milton Arbogast. The police were altered and promptly arrested Norman. He was charged on three counts of Murder with Malice but was soon found unfit to stand trial. He was sent to the Atascadero State Hospital to be institutionalized. In 1983, he was sent to the Fairvale State Prison where he lived out his final days. Bates died of Kidney Cancer in Prison on September 14, 2010 at the age of 77.

Lundian Socialism | Early life of William Lund (1880–1925)

William Hansen Lund was born in Moose Lake, Minnesota, on March 14, 1880, to Norwegian immigrants Johan Lund (1854–1926) and Brigitte Lund (1858–1936), who worked as iron miners. According to the 1880 Census Moose Lake had only 100 inhabitants; it is believed growing up in a small town immigrant community affected Lund deeply.

Lund began working at the age of 12 to sustain his family. He was treated harshly and suffered several workplace injuries, thus shaping his socialist, pro-union views. In 1896, the Lunds moved to northwestern Wisconsin, where William continued working in a mine until becoming a union organizer in 1900.

The following year, Lund became a founding member of the Socialist Party of America, whose main stronghold was Wisconsin (especially the city of Milwaukee). In 1908, Lund married Christina Holbein, a fellow Norwegian American who served as first lady during Lund's presidency. They had three children.

By 1910, Lund was the most important Wisconsin Socialist outside of Milwaukee, allowing him to be elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1912. As a state assemblyman, Lund cooperated with La Follette's progressive faction of the Republican Party in order to improve the lives of working-class Wisconsinites. This made him popular among workers in his district, but he lost reelection to a Republican in 1916.

Like most Socialists, Lund strongly opposed the United States's entry in World War I, arguing it would benefit big corporations but not the working man. Consequently, he was arrested and was only released in 1921, subsequently becoming one of the Socialist Party's most important figures. He campaigned for La Follette during the 1924 election.

The Second Korean War: NATO(Blufor) vs 🇷🇺🇨🇳🇰🇵

The Communist Party had wrestled back control of the Soviet Union from Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin, before they can dissolve the Soviet Union, however the same could not be said for the rest for the Warsaw Pact. With this however, the Soviet Union had struck up a relationship with its remaining Communist Allies in China and North Korea. After supplying the North Koreans with its most advance tanks and equipment, the US sends a Carrier task force led by the USS Enterprise to the Sea of Japan, as the world braces itself for the Second Korean War. You take command of the South Korean Army and USS Enterprise task force escorted by the JMSDF in the opening hours of the Invasion, then you would assume control of a UN led coalition in the counterattack to retake South Korea and eventually, the invasion of North Korea itself to settle this rivalry once and for all...

This is a map for my alternate history scenario where the articles of confederation were kept, due to the states being unable to agree on any draft, and as time goes on, the idea of an "United States" becomes simply a defensive and economic alliance called the "League of America". instead of a loose confederation in the 1500s the emperor decided to centralise power this instant instantly made the holy Roman Empire the biggest country in Europe throughout the Renaissance it unified Germany after the Napoleon wars in this timeline of France also wins the Napoleonic wars however soon collapses because the sheer amount of territory they have to govern in the 1800s they unify again restoring the empire however it became a completely Germanic dominated state it absorbed Austria in the 1900s and won two world wars
