I just went to a store where they let everyone try out the Panache Envy to find the right size. To me, this bra felt kind of flimsy, since the straps and the back are not wide at all. Since it is a balconette model, I also felt like my boobs were falling out, even though it appeared to be the right size. I am sure it was the right shape, it looked very good from the outside.

Instead I bought The Fantasie Fusion Full Cup, which feels wayyy more supportive to me! I am so happy with it!

But I wonder why the Panache is the holy grail for everyone, since it did not feel that supportive to me, even though I do not have very large boobs (65FF UK).

So I've been wearing a 34d for several years and actually had to size up to that from a 32c when I realized that it was too tight and didn't have the cup coverage I needed anymore, and I thought I found my correct bra size because the one before was way too tight. I got measured at Victoria's secret like a month ago and they said I was a 34d. I still believe my current bra size fits but I recently heard that Victoria secret has inaccurate measuring? Am I secretly wearing the wrong bra size somehow even though I'm pretty sure it fits?

I have been under the impression I am a 34DDD. I entered my measurements in the calculator, and learned I am actually a 32G. I have noticed fitting issues with the 34DDD bras I own. Now, I am trying to find a true 32G, but my measurements dont seem to align with ANY of the ones listed for that size on any company websites I have looked into so far. Any brand/website recommendations for 32G, that actually fits and you dont have to do guess work? I dont know if it's relevant, but I prefer balconette bras because I do have top volume loss from pregnancies/breastfeeding as well as extreme weightloss (over 100lbs). Thanks!

A friend recently told me to check out this subreddit and to learn what my measurements are to find a good fitting bra. I used the fit check calculator and it said to consider posting my measurement numbers here to see if the size it gave was correct? Ive been wearing a 36DD for a while but I dont think it fits well. I am going to a friend's wedding soon and would really like a bra that actually fits me as I feel awkward enough in dresses.

32FF - Freya Starlight

Looking for a fit check on the 32FF Freya Starlight Side Support Bra. A while back it was suggested to me that, due to weight loss, I should try going down a band size to account for extra skin. At the time I did and I do feel it's a better match for me.

As you can tell by the photos. I have a lot of soft tissue and extra skin. I have a very large difference between standing and leaning because, essentially when I'm standing, I'm just measuring flat tubes against my chest. When I lean over, all of the tissue stretches from my back to the ground.

So far - this bra feels very comfortable and supportive. It feels much better than my current bras, so I do believe I'm going to keep this one while I continue to hunt for more fits.

I tried this one years ago, but I had tried it in a 34 inch band. I was perusing some of my other Reddit posts over the years on ABTF and Galaxy had said the Starlight I was wearing at the time (34E) was close to a good fit, but they wanted me to try two cup sizes bigger which I never did. So, here I am trying a 32FF, so it's a band size down and one cup size bigger.

My current bras are:

Chantelle Rive Gauche - 32G *or* 32FF (The tag isn't on it) - This bra fit great for a couple of weeks but it got horrible stretched out and I needed to wear it on the tightest loop.

Fantasie Fusion - 32G - This bra has never felt great. The wires felt too narrow and it sits like a good inch below my IMF.

Hi all! First time posting in this sub, and would love some help. Been going over all the different diagrams and I think I know my shape. I have pendulous shape, with a wide and short root (I’m pretty sure, slightly confused on that), even fullness on all sides when I lean over, that are wide set (three fingers apart), and very soft tissue

I’m just trying to find a good everyday bra, I don’t care about it looking pretty or giving good cleavage or anything, just needs to not be uncomfortable and look nice under shirts. Also needs to be able to bought and easily returned as someone living in the US. I typically prefer wide straps and band, and don’t buy anything lacy because my skin is sensitive and it makes me itchy. I’m willing to try ones like that anyways, but please keep that in mind. I’ve tried finding recommendations on people similar to me,

I’ve tried various bras on Amazon with underwires according to their own brand size chart (though admittedly not high quality ones) and one (or usually more) of a few things will happen. 1. Not big enough of a cup size 2. Cup size sort of works but there is a lot of gaping on the top 3. Underwire digs into my armpit area 4. Underwire can’t fit properly underneath where it should, and sits further down on my rib cage. 5. Underwire is lifted away from my ribs

Hi everyone, I'd love to get a fit check if possible. I know none of these work; I'm new to bra fitting & having a hard time judging what the issues are and would love some pointers. I live in a random small European country where most of the popular brands are hard-to-get (or non-returnable thus inaccessible) so I'm having some difficulties going off by all the recs here.

First of all, the calculator said my size is a 80G and I know none of the following bras are of that cup size, that's because I've tried a lot of G cups in stores in-person and all of them were way too big, and not just that but most of the bras from F cup size upwards have such high wires at that point that they always poke my armpit. Admittedly didn't try a lot of brands, so maybe that was the issue. If you know of any brands that are suitable for short roots, please let me know!

My boobs are pendulous, would be kind of tube-shaped if they were completely supported on all fronts, but I also have very short and regular roots (I think?) and soft tissue, even-full, also they're super wide set, I can fit 4 fingers between them. Some of my common issues are:

- wires digging into armpit, haven't found a bra yet that has a big enough cup but short enough wire not to poke

- folding boobs

- wires sliding down from my IMF

I've been wearing a Triumph Amourette Charm 80D for the past year, its cup is too small but it's not terrible and I got so fed up with trying to find a good-fitting bra last time that I just kinda accepted it lol. Now some popular brands are available in my country so I thought I'd try again. I've tried a Triumph Comfort Contour W01 in 80E-80F the other day in a store (unfortunately I don't have pics of this, my bad), and the 80F's cups were some of my best fit as of yet, however in that cup size the previously mentioned wire poking into armpit problem presented itself again. I was legitimately considering buying it and snipping some of the wire myself but I couldn't be bothered.

Anyway, this time, I've tried the following bras:

hi everyone, I am slowly building up my supply of bras for different occasions. Right now I don't wear bras day to day but that will probably change when I move job, so I want to start troubleshooting fit problems that are bearable for an evening out but would be insufferable all day every day. I would really appreciate some tips on what bra attributes to look for to fix each of these and which I should focus on

I wear a 32F

loose underbust: 32in

snug: 31in

tight: 29.5in

standing bust: 39in

leaning: 40in

lying: 36.5in

(I recognise these measurements give a 32FF, but I find F cups fit much better, idk if that's related to what seems like a weirdly small lying measurement or what).

I am full on bottom and centre, and while my boobs splay outwards when unsupported they touch when leaning over and I have kind of a bridge of tissue between them. That is to say, if I follow a line down the centre of my chest there is a noticeable speed bump between my breasts even though the breasts themselves don't touch and kind of face away from each other.

Issue 1: the gore of all my bras digs in to the skin between my boobs. If I shuffle the wires round to be more in the armpit the bras are a lot more comfortable but it rides up again over time. I already buy exclusively plunge styles and try to get bras with low gores, but I guess they're not low enough?

Issue 2: the shoulder straps constantly slip down. I have very slopy shoulders and big traps for my frame - even if I purposely do the straps too tight they ping off my shoulders. At the correct tension they slide down regularly and often fall off completely. I have no idea where to go with this tbh, when I was younger I would wear the straps loose and tie them together into a racer back it annoyed me so much. I speculate that very narrow set straps, if they exist, would help.

Issue 3: lack of non textured non lined cups. I really need a plain mesh or cotton fabric with discreet seams in a pale nude or pink that I can wear under shirts, blouses etc without the texture making lumps.

I have persistent issues in lined bras - I have a lightly lined version of an unlined plunge bra which fits me well cup-wise but the lining causes weird gapping at the top/outside and double boob at the bottom/middle. Unfortunately, most unlined cups seem to have a lace texture.

edit: people are down voting my comments so I guess I haven't been clear enough. I'm not asking for perfect fits here, just ideas of brands, models, or attributes to look for as I start buying online more expensive bras that I hope will fit better. I have no idea where to start beyond the vague styles I've outlined above. I can't give you fit comparisons in the brands I usually see referenced in this sub because I haven't worn any of them but I hope I can get some ideas of what to try and report back on based on what I do know about my shape? Presumably buying another random bra labelled plunge will not get me any further with recommendations than my Ann Summers ones have?

So I've got the sizing part down pretty good and I know panache and elomi are my homegirls when finding a good fit. Due to shape, I do best in a balconette/half cup, theres too much gapping with a full coverage. The issue is postpartum, the girls are about 2 cup sizes different, one is happy in a 38HH(uk) cup, the other a 38GG(UK). To avoid the spillage, I tend to size with the larger cup, but want to try an insert/pad to boost the other. Does anyone have recommendations for things theyve tried? I've looked at mastectomy inserts, but those seem tor replicate full breasts, not partial implants.

Amended my calculator measurements as it originally came out with 34F which was far too big but now it’s saying 32F/FF which a 32F fits far more accurately in regular balcony style bras (my preferred bra style).
I am struggling to find a strapless bra to work for me. I ordered a couple in a 32F and they would barely close, tried one in a 34E and the cups were gaping. Any I’ve tried are always digging into my sides and sternum :(
Is it because I’m trying high street stores and maybe their quality isn’t so great?

(just a bit of a silly post, of course i'm not gaining weight just to change clothes sizes, but it sure feels nice to actually be able to find a bra in my size now. on the downside, the bras i've had previously fit worse now, but they're technically intended for my current size and are still good enough...)

As title, I’ve been looking for a shop (physical, online, etsy wtv) that makes molded cups in a 30P uk. I have some customs, but they’ve all been seamed, not molded.

I work in an office, but recently got put on a project that needs me to go on site visits regularly. So far I’ve just been going out of office wearing what I wear to work. I usually wear an inner layer between bra and shirt to avoid showing the seams on my bra, but that extra layer has been killing me in this weather.

If anyone has recs on molded cups in my size, that could save me from wearing that pesky extra layer and I will worship you and your bloodline for eternity 🙏🙏🙏

I was fitted at bravissimo and came away with the millie. After wearing it for a short while, it almost stopped my circulation at the part where my arm meets my torso! I'm only 5 foot 2 and find that bigger cups expect you to be 6 foot tall!

What I like/don’t like:

(Understance) I like the way the underwire fits, it does not dig into my side like most bras do. I like that the top/straps sit wide and do not dig into my axillary breast tissue (aka sideboob underarm fat). I don’t like that I feel like I am constantly needing to adjust either the front or pull down the back, and move the straps. I don’t feel as secure/covered in this one.

(Fantasie) the coverage. I like that I feel secure and in place with this one. Nothing is spilling out and nothing is going anywhere. I don’t like that this one feels too tight in the band, it does pinch into my axillary tissue leaving it red and rashy feeling. The wires are also not quite wide enough, causing some digging into the side.

These are the two BIGGEST sensory issues I have always faced, which have lead me to wearing either non-supportive “sports bras” or bras that are WAY too small (like a 36D) with no underwires.

Am I wearing them wrong? Are there any other recommended brands that might fit what I’m looking for?

I thought I was happy with my 14F(AU/NZ)/36F sports bras (no overflow, very slight underflow but smaller sizes overflow instead, good support, wires sit flat against the chest) but today I discovered that my breasts fold above the wire which I think is the source of my underboob sweat and irritation. I thought the wire kept my breast floating from the chest but when I shoved my hand in from above and below I found a pretty big region where my boobs folded onto my chest, and after some searching I think it was caused by my boobs being projected with medium-wide and vertically short (at least in comparison) roots, which gives them a "flatter" shape. I have about one to two fingers of spacing, but spacing hasn't been too much of an issue with these bras.

There's a couple of other small issues that I've outlined in this diagram. One of the most prominent is the cup folding at the sides/near my underarms but I think that has a lot to do with the shape too, rather than the cup being too small or too big.

I think just from looking at my breasts, a sock-like shape with a slight vertical squish might help but I have no idea whether to find such a thing if that's even the right thing at all.

I don't remember my measurements for the calculator but I can retake them if needed. I think it was somewhere around 83 to 86 cm ish for the band and 95 to 110 for the breasts (range of all 3 measurements each)

I tried to search this subreddit but all the questions I've found was about folding upwards... But considering how long it took me to spot this I think that's not too surprising.

I'm a 32DD (calculator size), and genuinely the only way that I can describe my chest is butterfly-shaped. I've short and wide roots, but also armpit fat that can easily spill out of a badly fitted bra. Think how a butterfly has upper and lower division in its wings, I've fat flat fat.

I've had success with Asos Design Fuller Bust T shirt bras before, but of course my holy grail bras had to be discontinued. I specifically want a smooth, padded t-shirt bra as I wear a lot of fitted tops and have nipples that won't quit.

I'm looking for a good demi-cup t-shirt bra, ideally with a wide band. I've tried the Triumph, Freya, Chantelle, and Fantasie options available near me but all are way too high in the cup, so if I get something that fits in the band and underwire I have a huge amount of empty space up top.

I tried Dorina Evelyn bras, and liked the cup shape but found that they ran a bit small and I prefer a wider band for back fat purposes.

Any recommendations?

I think that I have a shallower shape, slightly fuller on the bottom and outsides but an overall fairly even fullness. I know my breasts are farther set, I can fit three fingers in between them.

I’m in the US, and looking for a bra I can wear for everyday stuff like work and whatnot. I’d love something with some side support because I have a fair amount of tissue in my armpits. Right now I’m considering the Natori Feathers, is that a good option?

It says on their website they do, but I'm looking and can't find any. I've been here long enough to know that VS bands run large/stretchy, and they mainly have molded cups anyway. Mainly looking for affordable 28Ds, or companies that run sales often. My shape is center full, very close to even vertical fullness, shallow normal roots.

Soma’s enbliss racerback bralette used to be my favorite but the quality has gone way down. Now the material stretches out way too quickly and it looses its shape.

I’m looking for something that compares.

Boody’s seam free, fuller bust bralette but the seams were too rough and itchy for me.

Anita twin soft bra and the light & firm sports bra but the seams were super prominent and abrasive.

Beyond yoga’s spacedye bralette’s which feel good, but are too thick for daily wear and give me uniboob.

Hi! I am a 32F/30G on the ABTF calculator and I’m in the US. I am looking for basically a tank top with an extra layer that will fit over my boobs. I don’t need support from this — the use case is more taking my dog out first thing in the morning, or if I’m on vacation with my in laws or another family and I don’t want to go braless around the house bc hello. So situations where I want want to be braless but I also don’t want to strap up. The Bravissimo tank I’ve seen recommended around here has underwire which is not what I want.

There are a million bra-camis out there but I haven’t found one that comes in my type of size configuration. Does anyone know of a shelf bra type cami that comes in a size that works for a smaller band/bigger cup? Bonus points if it’s cheap, haha.

• Elomi Charley Banded Stretch Lace Plunge (4382) - 36F

I think they're juuussstttt about right, but in wearing the Freya this week I was pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly which was quite a disappointment. The straps are set wide apart and end up mostly in my armpits, resulting in some chafing and the strap itsself wrinkling and folding over to accomodate my arm/shoulder.

The back was a bit uncomfortable too, feeling like I had some pinching on my skin, mostly around my shoulder blades and where the straps rested.

And the straps weren't staying put!

I live in India and from what I can find online only M&S carried these sizes. Ordered both sizes and 32GG was perfect. It was one with underwire and no padding and I realised that was what really worked for me compared to a padded one and the support was great.
