Ships A navigable navy destroyer in 1/72 scale
I've been building this ship over the past few years, and just completed giving it a uniform grey coat this summer. Most of the details are complete, though some weapons are yet missing. My goal is to add functional LEDs, functional rotating turrets, and rotating radars as well.
This was its first navigation in full grey attire. Because of voltage issues with my custom-made nRF24 Arduino controls, I only stayed close to shore, and kept a fishing wire attached, but my goal is for it to be fully navigable. Because it's in 1/72 scale, there's a helicopter that goes on the heli deck (not shown because of transportation).
All the details are custom-designed in Blender 3D software, and made in either 3D printing, fiberglass, or plastic sheet.
The ship is the F620 Forbin, a Horizon-class destroyer, modeled as seen until the refit in the 2010s.
Details still missing: the 76mm Otto-Melara guns are not shown, the Giat F2 machine guns, the NGDS lance-leurres, the helicopter deck railings, some ladders, and some paint markings Unfortunately, I broke off the head of the mast in transportation, so that detail is missing.

Aircraft Kora Models Ansaldo A.120 ADY

Aircraft South Pacific dirty bird
Hi y'all. Here's another of my collection of attempts at dirty birds. This one is a F4F-4 from the South Pacific during WW2. Normally these birds would be on aircraft carriers, specifically "jeep" carriers cause of their light weight and foldability, but I wanted to showcase one from the island hopping campaign.
Salt weathering was uniquely challenging as the aircraft model is 1/72 scale getting the crystals the right size is difficult. Otherwise, I used Tamiya smoke for oil weathering and Vallejo desert pigment for the dusty look, afterall it is in a beach environment.
Hope you all enjoy!

Other Follow up on the engine and more Waffenträger Auf E-100's i mentioned...
U might have or have not seen my last question on how the maybach HL230 from the Tiger II looks like, suggested from multiple modelmaker subreddits, and id like to thank all of you who helped! Really means alot to me :)
The people who told me said HL230, however though reading modelcollect's description of the original Waffentrager Auf E100 1/72 Kit it was meant to have a HL234 and i quote
»The final version was to be powered with an HL234 producing 850 hp mated to a Mekydro transmission«
Since the V12 HL230P30 is underpowered already for the Tiger II, and perfect fit for the panther tank! So i slapped a V12 HL234 850hp into a waffentrager aif e100 how it was intended to! However the valvetop looks exactly like the HL230 i havent got any other option to make it look like the HL234 sadly.
I made the hoses myself and based it off a Tiger II engine i hope you all like the engine bay!
Spoiler alert: Yes theres more Waffentrager Auf E-100s ;)

Ships 1/72 Forbin Destroyer build log (2.12m)
I've been working a lot on this boat over the past year. It's a 3D printed hull covered with fiberglass, with plastic card structures, and resin printed details.

Other Coming soon... (Waffentrager Auf E-100 Update)
As u might know i now own 8 Waffentrager Auf E100s, but i have some great news. I have ordered 2 Waffentrager auf E-100 W R1 Missile which one of them includes the parts i need to create... yesyes u guessed it 2 more Waffentrager Auf E-100's
In this picture on the left, i have ordered 2 waffens and 1 E50 with flak 40. I already have one Flak40 ready so that totals upto 2 flak 40s. One of the Waffens i ordered has the turret needed to complete 1 of the waffentragers. While the other waffen kit does not...
On the right side of the picture shown, i already have 1full waffentrager ready to be built with flak 40, but no rubber tracks (yet). Same goes for the other box. This means i could create 4 more waffentrager auf e100s, 2 with flak40s the other 2 with missiles.
Just a lil update on where ive been and what i have been upto :) that makes a total of 12 waffentrager auf E-100's which is insane to believe myself.. hope y'all like the progress and updates so far stay tuned cuz i have alot more in the bag😉

Aircraft Another Dirty bird special.
1/72 Hawker Tempest mk.V by Airfix.
No major issues during the build but the large decals tear really easy. The antennas are easy to lose also. The color code is slightly off so do your research. Otherwise an easy and fun build for really cheap.
PS. I chose to use (Vallejo) European dust, dirt, and mud effects for weathering because the environment these aircraft would have been in would have prevented easy cleaning. I wanted to reflect constant dirt and weather build up.
Enjoy.

Eduard Spitfire completed!
I posted some in-progress shots of this build a while ago, here’s the finished product! Unfortunately I dropped the camera on the model while shooting, and lost a prop blade in the process, so I didn’t get as many/as good photos as I would have liked, but I’m very happy with the build (or I was before it was disfigured…)
I’ve also made a video of the build process, if you’re interested you can check it out here:

Cool little project...I don't have the tracks on because tbh they are garbage. Anyone wanna point me in the direction for some aftermarket tracks?
