A blizzard GM gave out favors to certain WoW players/creators, one of them being an e-girl. She started flaunting it in front of her stream yesterday and now that blizzard employee is likely gonna lose their job.

With 12 items on its table, over 50% scroll rate for years, a roughly ~380h grind for JUST the megarare you'd ideally want and purples being rare as hell this would make the raid inline with the other two.

Tbow would still be a very long grind (~320h ish in CM's) but all other drops are considerably faster to get, yet still take a long time to complete, considering their droprates. Atleast seeing another purple than a damn prayer scroll gives you the drive to continue chambers.

I completed the Maggot King Speed Chaser CA with Dharoks and a Twinflame Staff, so I'm now allowed to have an opinion on its difficulty. I don't think it's too bad, with BIS it's pretty free and even in a very cheap setup it's doable with some luck and milking within a few hours.

However, the paragraph in the blog about how the CA isn't GM worthy is just ridiculous. It's not the hardest CA task, but it's far from the easiest, and there are plenty of much easier speed times (all of COX, Vorkath, Duke, Arraxor, Yama, Hydra etc.) in Grandmaster. Change this to a Grandmaster Task and probably also change the Perfect to a GM task.

If this game continues to release new raids, each offering best in slot, the Chambers loot table being drastically more bloated, and unique acquisition being slower will become a larger and larger comparative stain on the Endgame experience.

Proposal for the band-aid being ripped off is a good choice for long term.

I always struggled with CG and yeah skill issue, get good, etc etc, but now that I can get consistent t2 I’ve managed to actually clear it 5 times in a row so far. That’s huge for me, I’ve only ever cleared it once before. Turns out I can manage the fight fine, it’s the constant 12 hits through prayer in T1 that screwed me over time and time again. Between panic eating and switching prayers and getting chunked by a tornado, the T2 calmed my nerves a ton and the whole vibe just changed. I think I might enjoy my time in the prison now.
