Suggestion [Suggestion] on top of the CoX changes in the blog, change kodai and Elder Maul weighting from 2 to 4. Drop prayer scrolls down from 12 to 10. These should be rare, not megarare items.
Title. Would make the drops on par with ancestral and slightly fix prayer scrolls a bit more.

Suggestion Raids 4 suggestion
Add a 0.1% chance of when completing the raid, the ceiling caves in, everyone gets kicked out of the raid and they lose out on their rewards. This will only happen once, ever. Once it happens to one raid team, it will never happen to them or anyone else ever again.

Discussion Phosani’s Nightmare
When will Jagex rip the bandaid off of this one? We’ve gone through multiple tweaks now and the drops are still terrible for one of the best fights in the game.
It was disappointing not seeing anything addressed in the blog. At this point, we don’t need a different way to get the orbs. JUST BUFF THE UNIQUE DROP RATES AND REGULAR LOOT.
This has been what everyone is asking for and yet we have to go through weird, difficult, and stubborn suggestions (not even implemented at a certain time) that make it extra tiring for no reason…

Discussion HC Mains should not be on their own server
HC mains on their own server would not be popular and would not feel enjoyable to play. The worlds would be largely dead. Just take a moment to consider how dead the permanent DMM world is and we could reasonably expect similar player numbers within 1-2 years on the permanent HC main servers. The economy would be a mess and similar to permanent DMM where you'd end up just playing like an iron anyway because the economy is so screwed up from incredibly low player counts.
The "prestige" of hardcore will always be for the iron variant because of the time investment necessary to create a solid hardcore that's able to take on dangerous content, so HC main would be a mode for people to enjoy much more casually if it has a place at all. The mode would be so incredibly difficult on custom servers due to the screwed up economy that it would end up playing like an iron anyway, so anyone interested in the mode would stick to main game HCIM mode.
You'd lose the ability to ever do content with friends. HC main servers being dead, you'd be very lonely running around playing an almost iron-like experience without ever being able to interact with normal main game players.
Overall, HC mains having their own server would would be a vicious cycle of no one being on the servers, so less and less people would want to play it, which leads to the cycle continuing until it looks like permanent deadman mode with a very small number of active players.
HC main could be a fun challenge for people who want to see if they could beat all of OSRS's most difficult content without dying, without the major time investment of an iron. It has a great place being in the game for that particular reason. It does not need to be nor should be on it's own server if added to the game, it would add nothing at best and makes the gamemode redundant at worst.

Question Why is there no option to dismantle a ballista?
I just made a pretty painful mistake on my Ironman.
I had one ballista spring and accidentally assembled a light ballista, thinking I’d be able to dismantle it later and use the spring to make a heavy ballista.
Turns out… you can’t.
What confuses me is that there are some of items in OSRS that can be dismantled or reverted…
So… why doesn’t the ballista have a simple “Dismantle” option that returns the frame, limbs, and spring?
Is there a technical reason for this, or has Jagex just never visited this thought? Maybe I’m just late to this party? Who knows.
I’m not asking because I’m crying about my mistake (anymore), but more to get an understanding.
Thanks!

Suggestion Raids 4 Reward Suggestion: New BiS Helmets for each style
Instead of having a whole armor set come from the raid, what if there were 3 different helmets (one for each style)? We could bring back the old school feel of seeing people with mixed armor sets like neit/serp with bandos, instead of everyone just being in full oathplate/torva/ancestral/masori.
Maybe the helmets could offer little to no defense to help balance a bit, even though most of the time it's still worth it to bring them. It's starting to become difficult for new rewards to not devalue old gear, but with how all the niches of horizontal progression are almost filled, at some point we're going to just need to make some things better than older stuff.

Discussion Resetman mode

While we're talking about different game modes, how about we introduce Resetman mode. A mode like HCIM, but when you die your account is "reset" as if you just got off tutorial island. The only thing you keep is your boss kc, so people can look you up and see you've got all this boss kc, but have been reset, and ultimately laugh at you.
I don't know of a single person that is glad they have to make another account to play HCIM once they die. Seriously, the amount of abandoned ironmen accounts must be quite high. Just reset us, and let us go agane.
Thoughts?

Discussion Prayer training at the Chaos Temple should be a blueprint for remodelling the Wilderness
Prayer training at the chaos temple in lvl 38 wilderness is in my opnion, one of the most balanced and well designed actvity for everyone.
- The skillers have an incredibly cost effective training method without sacrificing too much xp/hr (especially ironmen with the 50% bone save rate)
- The skillers can also choose to bring noted bones for better xp/hr, obviously at a higher risk.

- PKers have a variety of players to kill, with varying degrees of risk
- PVPers have skillers and PKers to kill
- It is a multi hotspot
As a skiller, you don't really have to be s loot piñata, since you can just bring 28 bones at a time. Wearing 3 pieces of gear (say dhide) wil ensure you mostly never lose bones even when you're being attacked. Unless obviously a team jumps on you, but thats rare.
The wilderness should offer such absurd skilling/pvm/clue interactions. Which give non-PK and non-PVP players the following
- A completely optional wilderness activity
- The outcome (rewards) of the activity should be reproduceable outside the wilderness too
- The activities should be busted
- For example, getting 3.5x per bone AND a 50% chance of saving the bone is an absolute ridiculous benefit (especially for irons)
- The activity should allows players to customize the amount of risk they bring in.
- Bringing in more risk (such as noted bones to the Chaos Temple) increases the already busted benefit, but increases your jeapordy.
- Have some form of jeapordy on PKers also
- Such as the chaos temple being in multi (so that even PKers sometimes get caught by clans)
A common activity forcing players into the wilderness is clue scrolls. Which can be tweaked in dozens of ways to achieve the conditions listed above, such as
You get a choice before starting a Hard/Elite/Master clue to make it a hardcore clue which contains wildy steps. The mega rare drops are either exclusive to the hardcore clue variants or significantly rarer in the non-hardcore variants
We also desperstely need freee protection such as Antifreeze potions, which could either reduce or completely eliminate the freeze timer .If this would break PVP, make it so that it can only be drunk if you're unskulled. Maybe require ranarr or snaps or some expensive secondary to balance this potion.
tl;dr - If Jagex wants to bring more people into the wildy, they need to make it worth it for players by giving busted rewards. Also they should not force players to come into the wildy. It should be optional, but incredibly rewarding. Lastly, being constantly frozen sucks, and there should be a counter play to that (besides freeze logging).

The ditch should be removed. The entrance to the wild is so much more daunting when you don't know exactly where it starts. Ditch = negative aura

Discussion Maggot king speed time
I was certain that the speed time was going to be similar to Yama, where you can reset between kills considering it’s a master task… but surely this has to be rage bait and makes me question the previously quoted statement that “all tasks are completed by a j mod before being released”.
Even with resetting between kills, 1:48 average kill time over 5 kills is still heavily pushing it for a master task. Irons without ZCB / Harm / DH, good luck getting zuk helms back (me). Helm was fun.
EDIT: The point being made is how is this being passed as a master task because “none of the tasks felt gm worthy” (Jagex quote). Especially with claims that every task is completed before it is released into the game. Top pvm streamers are already calling it one of the hardest speed tasks in the game as it is currently packaged without resets.
No this won’t make me throw the towel, ofc I’ll be getting gm back, even if it means I need to go do 2000 barrows kc if SRA won’t cut it. Obviously it’s an eye roll moment, but you can’t show any frustration without getting eaten alive anymore ❤️

Suggestion What if the first step you got for a clue scroll determined whether the rest of the steps for the clue would be all wilderness or non-wilderness steps?
So if you open the clue for the first time and see that you got a non-wilderness step, you wouldn't get a single wilderness step until you complete it. But if you get a wilderness step, then every following step for the clue would also be in the wilderness. This would apply to all clues, whether you got it in the wilderness or outside the wilderness.
The ratio of wilderness steps to non-wilderness steps would remain the same, but it'd cut down on the time spent banking your risk. It'd also help manage clue scrolls you're juggling since you could easily tackle all the wildy clues and then all the non-wildy clues or vice versa.
Something that could be seen as a consequence of this would be that wilderness only accounts would have an easier time grinding out clues as it'd essentially remove the need for clue scroll juggling for them.

Suggestion Kharazi jungle access
I believe I’m right in saying that the current fastest way to get there is diary cape teleport to the foresters, followed by karamja gloves 3/4 then run out of shilo and use the vine (79 agility) to climb over the cliff.
These are high requirements for teleports that only get you ‘near’ to the jungle. I don’t have an issue with the requirements, I’m very close to diary cape and karamja glove teleport is my current method.
What I am not a fan of, is how there isn’t a teleport inside the jungle for what I feel these requirements should be fitting of.
There are quite a few clue locations in the jungle, and outside of those clues I see almost no reason to revisit the area after completion of legends quest.
I was thinking we could have a spirit tree patch in the jungle somewhere. The farming level required would mean it’s something that does need work to unlock (maybe also make it a hard diary reward).
I wouldn’t suggest this if I thought it would impact certain XP rates or training methods, but as basically nothing is going on there I think it would be safe.
In an ideal world I’d love to see a specific teleport there that is part of an expanded dungeon or quest that gives the region a bit more life, however, frankly that is a level of creativity that is beyond me, my limitations are “i want to make my clues marginally easier.”

Suggestion Casting teleblock should also teleblock the caster and remove the caster’s ability to protect item.
You should NOT be so freely able to block someone’s escape if you’re not prepared to do the same and accept additional risk.
Risk vs reward.
