I thought this was kind of interesting. I've been to this zoo a number of times but knew how it came to be. Didn't ever know they had humans in exhibits there either.

As I’ve hinted at, this area pays tribute to one of the original concepts for the series. That being a focus on Pleistocene Megafauna.
I ended up scraping it due to not really having a concise idea of what I wanted to do with the story. Supernatural? Slice of life? Superhero? It became quite exhausting.
This also acts as the “children’s area” of the park, with a Playground and Splashpad (it’s Florida). And the various sculptures of extinct Pleistocene Megafauna that once called Florida home!

Hi all,
Vacation time is coming up, and I have the chance to visit either Pairi Daiza or Burger's Zoo. Have any of you been to both and have a favourite? In the long run, I want to see both, but can only go to one this year.
I love birds (especially birds of prey) and reptiles, and really like themed zoos with lots of nature-like enclosures .
Thank you!

With this, we complete all the animal sections of the zoo
Though this isn’t the last area, as there one more non-animal area that acts as a tribute to one of my original concepts for the series.
Compared to the reference zoo, this area is relatively unchanged in comparison to the others. In fact, you should be able to tell which this one is based on

So this one was quite a bit of work. Stayed up quite late last night getting it done. But I must say that I’m quite happy with the results!
Fun Fact: in Universe, this is actually the original Asian Gardens of the zoo. Before the expanded area we know was completed in the 80s. This section would have been closed off until 2000, where it reopened as a South American section!

Story: He saw his favorite zookeeper and was following from one side of the exhibit to another. He was also staring at him intently.

Hey all, a nice little tour around BWCP. A small gem of a collection here in the UK which mainly features primates although a few species we don’t see all that often as well

This is a slight update, featuring a few more species
The new additions are
Italian Sparrows, in their own aviary
Eurasian Hoopee, in the Sparrow Aviary
Ferruginous Duck, in the Swan Pond
Italian Bleak, a type of fish in the reptile shed
European Turtle Dove, in the Bee-Eater Aviary
And the Eurasian Kestrel, in their own aviary

Im thinking of visiting Cologne zoo this sunday. I know it will be busy like every weekend but is Cologne zoo still doable on sundays or does it just feel too crowded and you cant see the animals?
