Look, I know it's a Yaris but it's basically JUST the RAV4. Why do we really need this Yaris? It should be a small hatchback, not a medium-sized SUV. Let me know if you agree with this.

Been having an overheating issue with my car for months. First time it happened there was no coolant in the reservoir or radiator. Family friend came to look at it and radiator was not holding liquid so they used stop leak. (I've heard from a couple people this is terrible after the fact he used it 😭) the radiator was able to hold the coolant after that. Since then, when I go on the freeway and go 70mph+, accelerate hard, or go uphill, it overheats. When i pulled over to look at it the coolant was bubbling and overflowing out of the coolant reservoir. Talked to a couple of mechanic family members and friends and hear different things everytime. Checked this morning and saw this puddle and more splatter around the engine than I remember last time. I did not turn on the car yet today. Time for a new car or is it worth fixing? Plz help idk what happen to my smol car 😔 2013 yaris LE

Just ordered this for my 07. Stock tach is so minimal, doesn’t even show RPMS.
Gonna plant this right behind the steering wheel like the stock tachometer should have been located😂
Anyone else put extra gauges in their Yaris to get that extra engine info?

My 09 1.5 automatic hatchback has sat for a little over a month and is now having a starting issue. I let the car sit for a month because I had a rear suspension issue then before I could fix it I got very sick for about a month and had to leave the car sitting. On my first start attempt the car cranked normally, turned over then stalled all in about 10 seconds. After that it cranked very slowly like a dead battery, I charged the battery and since then all I’ve gotten was normal cranking but the engine will never turn over. I have full functionality in my lights, power windows, radio and everything else electrical, it’s not leaking anything, all belts look fine, it’s got fuel, oil levels are fine and visually everything else looks fine. The car has recently hit 199,XXX miles and is still on the original starter and alternator so I’m thinking one of these might be the cause. Any input is welcome!

Think I am finally going to solve my year old issue of car going into limp mode. High chance of it needing a throttle body. Found an OEM remanufactured for about 250 on eBay with a lifetime warranty good idea or no?

my car just cranks continuously but doesn’t start. it seems like this isn’t an issue with the battery as usually when that’s the problem, it will crank and then die and just make a clicking noise. in my case, it just keeps cranking

im thinking its possibly an issue with it reading the chip of the key, as when i made my reserve, i remember the guy who made it showed me what it sounds like when the car doesn’t read the chip before he inserted the chip. it sounds identical; ie just keeps trying to start. i’ve been using my reserve for the last few months as I lost the original

also, there is a red light that flashes on the front window, and ai said that that’s supposed to stop flashing when the key is entered, so either the car isn’t recognizing the key, or the key’s transponder itself is faulty

i checmed the fuses under the hood and under the dash and they all seem fine

no issue with the fuel as its almost full and i filled it up 2 days ago

im thinking it might still be a blown fuse but i have no clue what to do or where to start. anybody experience the same issue and have advice?

Hi, bought the car yesterday and today it randomly started to beep like crazy complaining about me not wearing a seatbelt. Long story short I found that some plug underneath the seat had disconnected when adjusting it. It looked pretty corroded so I just wiggled it back and forth hoping it would clear up but it was to no avail.

Any advice? has someone replaced this connector before?

When i start the engine, this red light stays on for a few seconds, then it turns off. Last time it was blinking (wich i dont remember doing it before) before turnung off. I searched the internet and couldnt finds what this light means. I only recently got the car so i dont know how long it was showing this light and if i should be concerned.

I am very close to getting the 2007 Yaris hatch as a first car. I know that it’s reliable and great on fuel. But I’ve seen people say how it can be very noisy and push the engine on highways. Being in Ontario, I also have to factor in the snow and ice. Is it really that bad on the highway?

I need help to confirm the fitment of this TRD sway bar(details in the pictures) on my 2016 XP130 France Built Yaris.I have seen people actually install this in up to 2014 yaris which is also a XP130 model, the design seems like it will fit I'm just not sure if it's wide enough to be able to bolt it like in the picture.

My exhaust setup is a Revel Medallion axle back + res delete. Feel like there might be a leak somewhere probably my manifold.
