This was the only thing standing between me and the platinum trophy. After the endless grind of Ishin with the seals and equipment, to be defeated by this minigame would've been beyond awful.

What really helped me with this is being more patient and always shooting the string of letters instead of just trying to stay in the empty spaces.

Quick Hot Take: If Kurohyou had been released on the PS3 and on the west(alongside Kenzan), nobody would be talking about 0 and Like a Dragon or the Gaidens as the best Yakuza games.

Yakuza 6 being the first DE game in the series definitely had its fair share of problems. But i think people don't realize just how amazing this game was. I think out of all the yakuza games it has one of the best stories since, as to where other Yakuza games' plot twists can come off as shit, Yakuza 6 managed to have a great and fun story. Great cast, Nagumo and Yuta are some of the funniest and greatest side characters in all of the series. Little baby final villain, and don't get me started on the Haruto walk scene.

As for the combat it definitely feels weird, but as someone who loves techy fighting games i somehow had a lot of fun throwing people
around in the amazing setting that onomichi is for this game. I hope rgg remasters this game, since right now you can't get past 30 fps on console which is kind of a waste for one of the best looking games in the entire series.

A few years ago I played Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1 and 2.

Just finished 0 and am now on my second playthrough of Kiwami 1. I forgot how much I hate the part where Date is driving and Kiryu has to shoot 17,384,212 bad guys who are shooting missiles and guns and throwing sides of beef and monkey parts at the car.

This part seems like it's from a different game. The control is wonky, there's too many bad guys, and it makes me effing crazy. Can't change the difficulty, and failing sends you ALL the way back to the beginning of the scene. Boo.

I'm SURE some of you gamer prodigies got through it the very first time on SUPER DUPER HARD using only your feet on the controller shooting only four bullets while you were playing guitar and discussing hyper-physics with your friend. I don't care. It's too hard for me on Normal. I'm old and don't have the time or reflexes to bash through this part.

Tried to get through it twice, now I just can't be arsed. I'm not going to finish this game this time around, unfortunately. I'll watch a youtube on how it ends, and then replay Kiwami2. I don't remember any part of that game making me want to launch the controller through the TV.

Anyone else wishing there was a "skip" button for this part? Or that you could change difficulty during the game?

A Gaiden game where we get to play as adult Koji, Mitsuo, Shiro, and Taichi

So yesterday I finished yakuza: like a dragon and i enjoyed it a lot! Now I am unsure if i should play Ishin, Gaiden or Lost Judgment next. I know Ishin and LJ are spin off games so l could play them at any moment and it wouldn't change much but still i want to hear your opinions. FYl I already played 0 - 6 and Judgment. What do you think?

I bought the original Yakuza game. Then the sequel.Then every other game I could get, even importing a few. Yakuza 2, I replayed in kiwami on PC. Then on Xbox. And now, many years later, I am replaying it again on my new PC, since I now can play it in 4K. My plan was just to "try it out for a bit". Just "have a quick look". But then I got lost in sidequests, level ups and exploring the city for hours.

Like a Dragon is amazing. I love this series!

Now that my trip to Sapporo has ended, here are some of the other photos besides Curry Shop S that serve as the inspiration for Tsukimino in Yakuza 5. Note that Sapporo is much bigger than what the pictures are showing but I want to focus on the spots from the games only.

It's barebones compared to the job systems in other JRPGS, but it's a big step up from the job system in Yakuza: LAD since it's better balanced, every job has it's own special attack & the addition of the skill selection system gives you so much freedom to experiment since it lets you mix attacks & abilities from different jobs.

It also helps that Infinite Wealth has a mechanic where characters who just joined your party will quickly level up to match the rest of the party
