Whether it's unpopular is another matter, but I think Danyl Johnson was mainly loved by the audience for his energetic performance style. Throughout the competition his singing was flat a lot of the time.

Leona was always great but you could tell she was nervous in the earlier stages.

JLS had a few tuning problems at points in the earlier stages but managed to sort that out as the competition progressed.

I'm not trying to be rude but I really don't see the appeal of this guy. He gives a mediocre performance, gets called out for it, and then rages and leaves the audition cursing. And after that he still gets to try four more times, and fails all of those as well!
