I built an open-source xCloud client for the Switch — sign in with your Microsoft account, browse your Game Pass library, and stream at 720p/1080p, 60 fps, handheld or docked.

It's all native: WebRTC on-console, hardware H.264 decoding (NVDEC) and zero-copy GPU rendering (deko3d). No PC relay, no companion apps.

You'll need Atmosphère and an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription (it's just a client for a service you pay for — nothing shady). Copy the NRO to
sdmc:/switch/ and launch in title mode (hold R starting any installed game).

I already managed to change my Windows settings [dragging "English (United States)" to the top of the "Preferred languages" list] which makes achievements in the Xbox app display in English BUT unfortunately achievement notifications are still displayed in my native language for some reason.

I did not encounter this problem during 360 games.

I was able to play ARK ASA initially for a few days , I saved my progress, and saved backup in game as well and exited the game properly.

However, now I can get it to log in, but the game/stream crashes almost immediately upon logging in to my saved game. It's able to get to the main menu, search servers, even download mods - it's actually playing the game that seems to kill it.

Now that Xcloud, or Xbox Cloud Gaming, is starting to converge user experiences whether from the web app version or the PC app version, the question remains: what will happen to the Remote Play option in the future?

I have found that launching Remote Play from a PC does not display the same launch message as from the Xbox web app. While the web app refers to connecting to the console, the PC app has changed its terminology and connects to Cloud Gaming as if connecting to the console from a PC were a thing of the past.

How do you see it? Is it simply two Xbox teams working in parallel, or will the Remote Play option with the arrival of Helix only be for "older" consoles?

Will the Modern Warfare 4 beta runs be playable on Xbox Cloud Gaming next month?

I'm having a weird issue with Xbox Cloud Gaming.

My PC gets around 280 Mbps over a wired Ethernet connection, so my internet shouldn't be the problem. However, even if I manually set the stream quality to 1080p or 720p, the game still looks extremely blurry, almost like I'm watching a 480p YouTube video.

I've tried changing the resolution settings, but nothing seems to improve the image quality.

I've searched all over the internet and I can't find anyone describing the same problem.

Has anyone experienced this or knows what could be causing it?

purchased Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Season Pass in May 2026 for 749 Kč. I play via Xbox Cloud Gaming on Xbox One. The Season Pass has never worked - the game shows a Buy button instead of letting me access the DLC.

My Xbox account is linked to my Ubisoft account. The purchase is visible in my Microsoft order history.

I contacted Ubisoft Support and Xbox Support multiple times over 2 months but nobody could resolve it. I was told to post here as there are Microsoft employees who can check if the DLC is configured correctly on the servers.

ok so basically yesterday i was playing cloud games fine and now today they just load onto the rocket ship and then do the xbox loading screen and after that its just a black screen. i really need to play a fun game so i need help.

Hello, first of all I really like the new experience. The design, the animations and the overall direction it goes.
But there are still a lot of really annoying bugs that drastically affect the UX and usability of the website.

Firstly when I open the PWA all sounds are there navigation and game/ remote play sounds. But when I close the pwa for example to check the settings because want to connect a controller or I open GoodNotes because I want to see my calculations all sounds are gone as soon as I reopen the pwa. This is really annoying and only closing and reopening the pwa will fix this issue. I attached an Screenrecording.

Additionally, the controller navigation can be a bit unreliable. When I connect the controller and launch the PWA, the interface often doesn’t respond to the controller at first. I have to scroll up and down a bit on the touchscreen before the controller input works. On the Remote Play page, the cursor behavior is also a bit inconsistent. For example, when the page opens, the cursor appears in the top left instead of on the first available console. And if the cursor is in the top right and I press down, I would expect it to move to the first console, but it jumps all the way to the bottom of the page instead.

I hope these two really annoying bugs can be solved because they very likely effect all of the users and reduce the UX very heavily.

Why is it taking so long for the “cloud not syncing recent save” issue to be resolved in Horizon 6? I’m about to miss out on more stuff from seasonal playlist because of this bug. Had no issues until mid-June when id got hit with error code 0x8060008. Then not even a week after it had resolved itself, my recent save won’t sync. Lost a couple hours but they helped with that luckily. Then it popped up again after like 3 days when I did everything to prevent it from happening again. They helped me fixed it originally by forcing a prompt to show up with a choice to choose between 2 saves. After I told them the issue has persisted they replied saying there was an update and that I should have no issues now but it’s been the same. Along with others from what I’d seen in the dc server. So infuriating. Support has gone ghost now.

I'm using the old and trusted Nvidia Shield TV. With the official Xbox App.

What are you guys using?

Do you think xCloud should incorporate the same solution?

This game is supposed to be cloud playable but when I try to, it just shows me that the game is on Xbox Gamepass Premium and Ultimate and asks me to get Gamepass. I'm currently using Gamepass Essential but I own the game. Should I not be able to stream it? Is Pirate Yakuza not part of the stream your own game and only the gamepass version is streamable? I'm a bit confused here.

xForceNow is a native tvOS app supporting:

- GeForce NOW
- Xbox Cloud Gaming
- PlayStation Cloud Gaming
- Remote Play from local Xbox and PlayStation consoles

The current build also includes 2K and 4K output and multichannel audio for PlayStation cloud streaming and Optional 2K or 4K upscaling for local PlayStation Remote Play
