I noticed that the digital version of Cars Mater-National is currently on sale for $8.99, its lowest price ever. I am concerned that it might be delisted because I like racing games, but I have never seen a Cars film and $9 seems steep. Should I go for it?

Back at my parents house and wanted to boot up my old 360 for the first time this year, getting stuck at DNS timeout errors when I try to connect to Live. I've tried the following:

* Enabling UPnP and port forwarding

* Setting up a local DNS server to make sure it was getting actual IPs

* Checking if 3074 is open on the IP addresses the DNS requests returns (i get timeouts/port not open errors, which is suspicious but could be client side jankiness on my end)

Nothing on my parent's network has changed since it last worked (~Nov 2025).

I see others have had a similar issue over the last few months on here, but no followups on potential fixes or if it fixed itself. Since BC uses a different method of getting on Live than actual consoles, wouldn't surprise me if they killed/neglected the old 360 login servers, but wanted to see if anyone else has been able to get in.

I've had an Xbox 360 for months, but every time I load it up it takes 40 minutes to an hour to boot up, then another 40 to an hour just to sign into a guest account, then 20 more minutes just to boot up the games. I can't manage to make an account on it without the console just not responding when I click on any button to do so, so I can't even play a game that requires saving. I've had to play sonic 06 and halo 3 all without saves. I even have to put a fan on top of the 360 just to get it to run faster.
My dad who's more intelligent when it comes to tech says it some issue with the motherboard, but I don't even think, he's sure. He's taken it apart before and I'm not sure what he did, but whatever happened it didn't work the way it was supposed to.

If anyone knows how to solve this issue, please let me know how and what I need to do to fix it.

I selected some of the lesser known games from my collection. Not going to say hidden gems because not all are great. But many are! What are your favorite lesser discussed games? (Not necessarily from this stack, as I'm missing quite a few)

Does anyone else use YouTube on their 360 still? Mine just randomly won’t load the video, loads the search loads everything else but when you click to watch a video it just says loading. Cleared the cache, reset the router, unplugged the system twice and still same bs what gives any ideas?

I have owned this game for years, and recently felt like playing it again, however when I went to download, it says I don’t own it, even though I literally remember buying it and have stats on the game. Can anyone help? I’m not sure what to do. I’m not just gonna rebuy the game.

I mean this game is full of bright colours and dynamic graphics and they come up with this? Its a sega game as is giving me master system vibes, just needs a grid!

When I put a 360 disk in the tray, it goes to saying reading and then immediately goes to saying “opening” and then gets stuck there. first time using 360 in a long time just wondering any easy fixes?

so every time I boot Aurora it takes forever to load so I want to auto boot it but every time I try it doesn’t work I use dash launch i use the har drive folder it saves correctly but every time I turn it off and on it doesn’t even load I’ve tried everything I swear

everything is working. I don't know why the seller said that it is defective.

Hello everyone I recently bought a Xbox 360 slim it has been jail breaked and I noticed that it was running a little too hot in my opinion while playing games for 3 hours it was up to 82C for the processor which I said it’s fine since I was playing for a long time then the next day i decided to just boot up my Xbox run aurora and see how hot it gets without playing any games now it has gone up 81C for the processor, graphics 75.2C, memory 71.3C and chassis 49.2C isn’t that a little too high for not running any games I can still go back to the shop and switch it for another one I have a one month warranty

I bought a generic shell swap kit but there’s a little tab that is blocking the whole shell from lining up and fitting properly. Anyone know an easy way to remove it or do I need to buy a rotary tool. If I do need to buy a rotary tool … anybody know any cheap ones 😅(I tried removing bits of the tab with some pliers but it needs to be grinded down flat to fit like on the genuine controller)

Current Xbox 360 collection! Super happy with what I have so far, my next pickups are: Skyrim Legendary Edition, GTA Liberty Cuty Stories, World at War, Black Ops, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Gears 1 & 2, and Red Dead Redemption GOTY. But let me know what y’all would add!

Mine got the red ring/dot of death over the weekend sadly. Can’t figure out how to fix it, it’s not really dusty on the inside. I don’t need controllers, cords, or a hard drive, just the console. But I want to get one in the best condition I can for a decent deal. I doubt my local retro game stores have any in stock, and buying a console on eBay sketches me out. I love eBay for other things but buying a console on there feels like buying a car on there. It’s hard to tell the condition in pictures and you never know what’s on the inside of the console

is there's any controller deadzone adjuster software available for pc? dxtweak2 wont work.. x360ce works but fails to hide the original controller.. resulting in two controllers detected by games. (original input and virtual input) hidhide fails to hide it either..

Already tried other HDMI cords and blowing the port with air and it’s the same. I’m assuming the gpu is dead but could it be possible I’m missing something?

So apparently cuz I be sleeping in a lot, and I mean a lot, until 2, 3 pm at the latest and I can never wake up at 7 and cuz my heart condition apparently it's been reconsidered that I don't do refridgeration cuz I just barely am able to function decently. Cuz my memory, sleep, actually being active.

I would've loved to get this thing working, would've loved to get a controller and a few extra games since I doubt online works for halo, but it spent 10 years in a box and 10 more years it shall, is the saying, right?

Economy kinda sucks.
