Class registration begins tomorrow. I was wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks that my incoming freshman should know before they start the registration process. They have their sample registration set up.

hello im a rising senior in high school, i was wondering if any wake forest students could share their experiences and if they liked the business program. Is it worth it to attend and how are job placements?

Just applied to a position as the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, but completely forgot to think about transportation. Is there a Wake Line bus that drops students off near the hospital? Or would I need to purchase student parking so I could make the commute.

I’m applying to WFU in August for Class of 2031, and this is my DREAM school. I’m writing some of my essays right now and just seeing stats online about political leanings on campus, I’m starting to wonder if writing about my identity and how it shaped me and whatnot would add bias against me. There’s no way to get genuine information on if this would happen but if any queer/ally WFU students have advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

(I am a scholarship recipient for a queer organization, so hiding it entirely isn’t the plan. My chosen name is also on some national club databases. But I just don’t want an essay to like… idk. I’m overthinking it)

Anyone who has done W2W and coming from out of state.....confused on move in. Arrive Aug 13th for W2W, wasn't planning on moving in completely since my roommate isn't doing pre-orientation but doesn't look like I can choose a move in time on 18th. So here are a couple of questions:

- Did you sleep in your dorm the first night (13th) I think we leave for W2W morning of the 14th. What if dorm is ghost town?! lol

-Feel like I'm "taking over" getting completely moved in on the 13th but no clue when we get back to campus on the 18th, maybe a mistake to wait?

I'm building a saved schedule as an incoming freshman and want to know if there are any differences between bio 150 profs Arnett and Tague? From what I've heard they are both difficult classes to take but that Arnett's lectures might be more clear? Would love to hear from anyone who has taken their classes.

Can someone please rank the freshman year dorms for me? I was placed in Luter and would like to know what the vibe is there as well and things I should know about it.

If I stayed in the area between Salem Lake/Kernersville, would it be difficult to get an Uber to the football stadium? I don’t think I would have issues but wanted to get a reasonableness check

I’ve heard tons of times that it’s good to continue talking to WFU if you’re on the waitlist, to show interest and increase your chances. But what exactly do I say? I’m not sure what’s a valid reason to email the admissions office.

I’m doing the Summit pre-orientation program and i’m excited but the website talking about it is very vague. Can anyone who has been before give more info on what to expect?

Could anyone offer some insight as to what the family orientation is about? Trying to plan and it seems like some of the parent and student events are separate. Are they information sessions/discussions or events?Do parents actually attend the parent events or do most leave? Not looking to have my daughter stranded by herself when most other parents are staying, but I don’t necessarily want to hang around if I won’t be spending the time with her. I know they advise to leave evening of 19th as 20th begins student orientation. Considering leaving 19th midday…

Has anyone ever gotten a lot of scholarship money from Wake? I want to apply to MBA program and I’d like to market myself well for scholarships. I know wake is a meet-need school. Let me preface I don’t come from a lot of money. I’m first gen. Im trying to navigate this all on my own merit. Please give me the best advice to put myself in the right postion for growth
