I did my undergrad at BU, I got into Wentworth for mscs and BU met cs. I am interested in AI. Anyone who is in WIT MSCS tell me about it.

The gender rationat WIT is scarying me as a incoming female freshmen, do ppl make freinds with other kids from different schools in boston, like NU, BU, BC, Simmons, Emmerson, MCPHS, MassArt, etc.

Do the Evans Way/Tudbury dorms come with a vacuum and/or a broom and dustpan or should I buy them.

I’m an international student who wants to study in the US. Since high school GPAs are meaningless in my country, my GPA is very low, at about 2.71. That’s why I'm thinking about doing a 2+2 program with a CC.Through my research, I found out that if I finish CC with a GPA of 3.7 or higher, it’ll make admissions offices forget about my high school GPA.
Now, I'm researching scholarships at Wentworth. I want to study CS or engineering (I haven't decided on the specific engineering field yet), and I have a very successful VEX and FRC career that is still ongoing. So, I have two questions for you.
First of all, would I be eligible for the FRC or VEX scholarships? The website says these scholarships areonly for freshman students.
My last question is: the website states the average Wentworth student receives a Presidential Merit Scholarship that covers $20,000–$25,000 per year. How realistic are these numbers, and do you think I could get it?
Also, I’m open to any advice about studying in the US and scholarships, especially from transfer students.

Incoming freshman, and I’m hoping to be able to do MtF hormone replacement therapy. Finding a proper endocrinologist that actually knows how to treat trans people and provide the properly satisfying levels and estradiol is equitable to winning the lottery, so I hope to do it myself in order to skip the steps associated with it.

In the prohibited items list, it explicitly states that prescription drugs without a prescription are not allowed. Would Estradiol fall under this? In addition to that, if found during a room check, would it be confiscated?

Hi there- my niece is starting at Wentworth in the fall and i was hoping to get her a bunch of gift cards to places close to campus for her grad gift. Anything from coffee shops, to a laundry place to cvs. Whatever is useful to a student and close to campus. Any reccos?

Hi! I want to ask if other engineering major alumni that still visit this subreddit if they found a job and if they are satisfied with it. I currently have a job for a small start up company and deeply feel that I'm not really using my degree for it nor it is advancing my skills and knowledge that I acquired from my degree. Hi all I am an incoming civil engineering student. Can anyone share their experience in studying at Wentworth? I am curious to know how you feel about professors here and your experience with class registration, advisors, etc. thank you.

I got into the Honors program here at Wentworth and have a few questions before I join it.
1) Are the dorms the same as all the other students? I know some school separate them but I couldn’t find anything for Wentworth
2) Is it really worth it here? Some other schools seem like their honors program is completely different and much better than the rest, but from what ive read so far WIT Honors program isn’t much different from everything else.
