I saw a friend’s photo and it really captured my attention. This is my rendition. All colors Deep Deep Light

I tried my first proper tiny painting but it feels a bit bleh... Any ideas for what I could add to it to bring it a bit more to life? Also, can anyone suggest any YouTube tutorials for tiny paintings for beginners?

A few years back, I wanted something to put up in our living room that would be video game related without being too obvious about it that it would feel out of place with the rest of the other artwork we had up. Thankfully, a lot of fighting game stages are perfect for this! So here's Sagat's stage from Capcom vs SNK.

I took an old practice piece and darkened the shadows tried to lift the highlights. What was I afraid of ruining and already meh piece? Seeing how much better it is gives me confidence to be bolder with lights and darks.

Tried a top-down view painting of a boat in a water lily pond! Loved working on the water ripples and bright floral details. Let me know what you think! 🎨✨

I lost my watercolor hobby after trying plein air painting, so now I am forcing myself to go back to experimenting. Coliro metallic watercolor paint. They are nice.

Super beginner to watercolour and I find my paintings are better without sketches . Just paint to paper following tutorials or step by steps but sometimes I see a cute painting and feel like it would be better sketched first but I can’t draw . For example I feel like I tried so hard and it looks nothing like the photo. It’s not where near as fluffy or as gentle feeling . Any tips on drawing puppy paws cuz I redid them a hundred times.
