I'm a leathercrafter based in Brisbane, Australia who mostly makes wallets that incorporate popular Italian and Japanese leather articles with some local kangaroo leather. Been cranking some wallets out lately and have this cool one that I finished tonight.

It's a classic vertical bifold with two vertical pockets and a horizontal card slot. The two card slot panels also double as hidden pockets for additional cards or some half folded cash, holding about 6-8 with cash off the bat before breaking in.

The exterior is a relatively rare marbled black shell cordovan from Shinki Hikaku called Advan. It has a softer feel compared to the usual shell cordovan from this tannery, and the marbled look is made by brush strokes of black dye over a natural tan shell.

The interior is also natural tan kangaroo leather from Packer Leather nearby me in Queensland, and is hot stuffed for a soft feel while retaining the strength of roo leather.

Finally it's stitched together with a Japanese Vinymo thread #8 in cream, heat creased, and fully burnished to a glossy shine.

Made a 9 pocket bifold wallet from natural veg tan leather that I hand tooled with dragon scales. The scales are black cherry and the edges are purple. Hand stitched with sapphire ritza thread.

A wallet I call The Tommy, made entirely by hand from start to finish in the Netherlands.

It has two horizontal card pockets which fits 2-3 cards each easily, one vertical card pocket which I use for my most used card for quick access and a stash pocket behind for the rest of my underused cards, I have 4 there in mine.

Has a full sized billpouch on the outside.

Measures 8.5cm in length x 10.8cm in height in the closed position.

It is chunky as it is 8mm thick on each side.
