Romance Review on the kid at the back or something...

The game is good, i will suggest it but for now it a demo, the only bad thing is that there is not really a lot of option like when ( SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILER ) When you let sol taking you back house after the incident in the cinema, it automatically let him come or our character let him take us back when it would be more interesting to have the choices of say no or idk. and the narrator is lowkey ai like, just the lines they remind me a lot of bots i use to talk to in chai.

Now without this problem the game is actually pretty good and i love the yandere side of sol, the caractere we play too i lowkey hate her ( her cuz i chose her but it can be they them or he him for yall ) i hate the way she think or the way she act like in the bad ending, (SPOILER !) when we try to kill sol it doesnt give us the choice to just talk to him we jump at him to try to strangle him when idk we just be scard and him reassure us and giving us a other ending with us having the stockolm syndrom idk but i didnt really like it.

but everything aside, this game is good and i have big hopes for the future of this game, i hope that when i will come out fully it will be still free !

I tried other visual novel and here are my toughs !

so the first one is you make home feel like home and did not work with me...It just sacred me so much and i lowkey hated it when in the beginning i said i wanted it censors and without the other thing and i lowkey got myself out of the game and when i agree to everything i got called a weirdo bruh please...

a date with death is the next one and didnt really love it, it was only text and call and you couldn't event see the work places etc like we didnt know anything about who are we playing, whats our history etc and didnt really like it plus the humour was lowkey cringe so idk...

The freak circus is the last i tried and i guess its okay, dont really understand the hype and the sudden yandere feel lowkey out of place, there is not really a lot of depths.

So what i will try is the quiet kid in the back something like that, ive seen a lot of tik tok on it so im happy to tried cuz it look cool !

14 days with you !

So today i tried my first visual novel, 14 days with you.

The story is actually great and lowkey love it, it make a great job at lowkey making feeling u odd even tho you could already know the story like the fact its probably not his appartement or te fact we dont know is name or we dont know anything about him.

He is clearly the stalker but everything just so odd and idk i really just love it ! plus im really happy that when the game will be out it will be free the only thing im lowkey scared is that it will change is dea and everything will not be the same as the demo.

For now i really love everything, even how the character interact with each other, its even kind of funny but you can clearly see the old humour in it and that lowkey make me nostalgic.

Hope it will stay how it is !

Mystery From Narcissu creator Tomo Kataoka: Be Missed and Remembered is now available

If you're a fan of Narcissu or enjoy visual novels set in the Showa era, I'd love to hear what you think of Be Missed and Remembered. It takes place in rural Japan in 1972 and blends nostalgic slice-of-life storytelling with Japanese folklore.

Gameplay Visual Novels with 3D models, and interactions

Looking for something like [https://store.steampowered.com/app/981770/SENRAN\\_KAGURA\\_Reflexions/\](https://store.steampowered.com/app/981770/SENRAN_KAGURA_Reflexions/)

Really enjoyed the interactions in the Senran games, and was wondering if any games also had features where you can dress them up, photography, and touch. It doesn't need to have all three, but I'd like something where you can dress them up the most. It's hard to sort through all the low-quality AI slop on steam. I'm not really looking for a hentai game, but if that's all you got I'll take any suggestions.

Any English BxG Romance VNs in Which the Characters Feel Very Human, Like in Katawa Shoujo?

KS had a very human development history: it took a long time, there were many rewrites, things felt scuffed at many points, people joined and left the dev team, and it was made out of love for the craft. And so, it's no wonder to me why the writing and characters in that world FEEL human to me. I read KS, enjoyed it, and would like to find something that feels similar.

A lot of other VNs, however (even ones which I have a bit of a soft spot for) feel quite tropey. IE, their characters don't feel like people I'd actually talk to, in real life: they're to busy overreacting to things, not having brains, being unsympathetic to things anyone would be sympathetic about in the name of "comedy", or just interact with people strangely - talking like aliens, if you know what I mean.

I know this is kind of hard to quantify and I also know KS had some slightly "alien-feeling" stuff (like when it came to Kenji) but you may be able to suggest something to me.

I've heard very high praise for White Album 2, but I understand that a large part of that story revolves around cheating. As far as I understand, it's done in a very human way, but that still isn't not what I'm looking for. As such, please don't recommend it.

Thanks for any other recs. <3

Looking for good English Translated VNs with this art style.

I love this art style but most of the VNs I find with it aren't translated. Does anyone know of any with a similar artstyle/ vibe to these? Not Subahibi coz I've read that already.

Other Good non-nsfw VNs?

I often stumble across a ss/art from a visual novel with a pretty artstyle and cute characters, just to find out its 17 hours of the player having sex with all the (15 year old) characters. Its pretty annoying. I don't mind a few distasteful jokes here and there, I just don't want it to be hours of fanservice slop on top of an already boring story.

I guess i'm just looking for anything that isn't super long, but also entertaining. I wanna get hooked to something!

Newbie Looking for more Visual Novels

Hello, this is my first time posting on this subreddit. I have been getting into Visual Novels as they are break from the typical games I play. I have various visual novels through mainly Itch and very limited success on Steam. I would like to suggest some visual novels that are not only free, but also have a male protagonist(I'm a male) and are compatible on Mac. Thank you.

[IOS] Looking for Visual Novels similar to Everlasting Summer or Roommates

Can anyone recommend some good Visual Novels for iPhone/iPad?

I really liked Everlasting Summer and Roommates, so I’m searching for something with romance, interesting characters, and multiple choices/endings.

Anything similar on the App Store?

So what do I have to get more than one recommendation?

Ok, I'm wrong about a title someone mentioned. I apologize for that. Can you please give me a few options?

'd like to play something that isn't slow where an interesting, confident, intelligent romantic interest knows that she wants you, and goes for you.

Please, give me a few options.

Example: Jessie From Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Another example of an AVN I've enjoyed: Making Lovers

Any VNs with a good romantic option that knows what she wants, and goes for it?

I'd like to play something that isn't slow where an interesting, confident, intelligent romantic interest knows that she wants you, and goes for you.

Edit: Try to stick to stuff that's vanilla. I don't want to read something like Katawa Shoujo. And I really thought this went without saying, but stick to stuff with an all adult cast please.

Example: Jessie From Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Another example of an AVN I've enjoyed: Making Lovers

Newbie Help choose, please!

Hi, I'm new to the Visual Novel games.
What I'm looking for is some recommendation on my "first" novel to play.
Since I want to make this post easy to understand I will make a bullet point list:

PRO (stuff I want or search for)
- Choice system (aka different route or stuff)
- Fights (I'm not talking about an hybrid game like rpg and novel, its fine but im looking for an action novel so not the usual dating sim one)
- Quality of life like reread text or x2 speed

MID (stuff I dont like nor i search for, but its fine if they are there)
- Dating stuff (meh Okay i guess but i dont really look for this stuff, its okay if they are in the story, its not okay if the whole story is about that)
- Old/Bad art (i know its subjective but i guess most people knows when drawings are bad)
- Fan translation (Most of them are usually wrong or unfinished, if they are there i need them to be trustworthy.)

CONS (deal breaker, i dont want this)
- boring story telling (like 50 chapter to reach something the author couldve achieved in 2)
- too short or too long game (like i dont want something to last 5 hrs, but nor i want a 1000 hrs novel)

Thanks for the help!

PS:
i said "first" since i played a little bit of Fate stay night but my save file got corrupted and i didnt reopen the game since i didnt want to replay the first part of the story.

Newbie [OC] That Time My School Was Invaded by Dimensional Snakes and Now I'm Bound to a Multiverse Protector! — 10 chapters, free to play in browser

Just published 10 chapters of my survival horror / cosmic thriller VN on itch.io. Free, browser-based, no download needed.

It starts grounded — you're trapped in a school during a giant snake invasion — and gets progressively more interdimensional and philosophical. There's a hidden Resolve system that silently tracks small human choices throughout and determines character fates at the end. No visible relationship meters.

I built the engine myself in vanilla JS with no frameworks, which was its own journey.

Still in development but the first 10 chapters are a complete enough experience to get a feel for the story and mechanics.

Would genuinely love feedback from anyone who plays it — especially on pacing, since I have no external testers.

Horror I'm making a VN "The Recipe for Life" where you travel in an RV and help people struggling with suicidal thoughts. I'd love to hear your thoughts

You are a wanderer with a cracked soul and a home on wheels. Your task is to hear the voices of those who want to take their own lives, and to find the right words before they fall silent forever.

If this sounds interesting, please consider adding the game "The Recipe for Life. A Journey Through Silent Apocalypses" to your Steam wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4176620/
