Considering he hasn't had a single interview or electoral debate without the question of Israel being brought up, I can't fault him for saying something.

I'll remind you he was the only Democratic candidate who did not say "Israel" when asked where he'd visit first on an official foreign visit, instead saying he'd stay in NYC.
