My 7 year old son has a couple of test chambers left on Portal after starting for the first time the other day. Sessions are shorter because he is working on his He wanted to jump to Portal 2 but I told him he needs to finish 1 first.
I literally just picked up the portal bundle off Nintendo shop for $5 so my son can experience them for the first time. I played these games into the ground back in the day! There’s something really special about vicariously experiencing it for the first time through my son’s eyes. He’s really enjoying it so far!
The ideal solution is not a mind wipe but a mind vault. That way you can lock away your memories of your previous playthrough, and when you're done you can unlock them again. This way you get to experience it like new again AND remember all your fun times.
This is the way, perfect length, perfect humor, perfect Voice Acting. Everything is perfect about this game. Puzzles, graphics, fun, etc. SPAAAAAAAACE.
I absolutely loved that game. Played it with a friend in like 2012. As amazing as it is there's not a ton of replay value there. Picked it up a few months ago with another friend and it was long enough to where I didn't remember any of the puzzles and got to figure it out all again. It was wonderful.
I know this is the wrong sub to complain about this, but I wish they’d rerelease portal 2 on PS5. I know it’s on steam, but it doesn’t work on steam for Mac. I’m not going to buy a PS3 or a new computer to play 1 game
