Question ❓ Excessive Data Usage Warning on Business Internet "unlimited" plans?
I work for a small business and we have several Verizon Business Internet gateways (XC46BE). Three of our lines exceeded 800 GB last month, and Verizon sent us a warning email stating that if each router doesn't stay below 800 GB for the next two billing cycles, they may terminate the service.
What confuses me is that:
- Our plan is LTE Business Internet Unlimited 25 Mbps.
- The Verizon LTE Business website say Unlimited data for the 25 Mbps plan (see screenshot below)
- On the Verizon portal, if I look at one of the lines and click the Broadband Facts button next to the plan name it also says Unlimited Data (see screenshot below)
When I spoke to a Verizon rep they told me there is no better plan I can upgrade to that has a higher cap, he said the better plan has faster speeds, but its still marketed as 'unlimited' and has the 800 GB cap same as my existing plan.
Has anyone else received a similar warning or termination notice? Is there any documentation that mentions this 800 GB cap on an unlimited plan?
