Your favourite cheese recipe?
I would be grateful if you would share your favourite vegan cheese recipe. Thank you š

No recipes that suggest anything that might include an animal product. No meat. No dairy.
This is a vegan subreddit.
This is now Rule #4. Anyone who posts a recipe with animal products will be warned once and banned if they continue to step out. No exceptions. This is a vegan sub.
Thank you for understanding.

I live in the U.K. & I have been on the hunt for vegan keto burger buns. Found them at bread 5 (link below) however they are tiny - like ridiculously tiny the quarter the size of normal burger buns. Whilst I appreciate their effort I canāt buy them again. Anyone here in the U.K. who knows where I can buy some vegan keto burger buns? I tried to make some myself but it was a disaster and I have no time to bake

EDIT UPDATE- I found these vegan and keto with skinny co. More like rolls but will hopefully do the trick. Havenāt had them yet but am ordering

Hi everyone, Iām looking for a nutritionist with a somewhat specific profile, and I hope someone can help me. Over the past two years, Iāve kept a very detailed diary to identify specific foods that seem linked to my health issues. Iām not looking for someone to prescribe a standard diet or a weight-loss plan; instead, I want a professional willing to analyze this data with me and develop a well-reasoned elimination/reintroduction protocol, while also considering the potential role of the gut-brain axis. Does anyone know a nutritionist or dietitian who handles complex cases like this? Iām particularly interested in professionals with experience in clinical nutrition, neurology, the microbiota, or the Low FODMAP diet (where appropriate). Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

I'm always on the go and would love to make a homemade protein bar that's high in healthy fats and uses an unsweetened plant-based protein powder.
I'm hoping for something that holds together well, tastes good, and doesn't require a ton of prep.
Does anyone have a tried-and-true recipe they'd be willing to share? Or any ingredient combinations that worked surprisingly well?

This isnāt steaks are 100% worth the hype. I just did 2 in a row (less than 3 net carbs each). Insane. So good.

I am learning how to decrease my carbs, maintain moderate-high protein, and increase fat.
Goal macros:
On training days (CrossFit)
- 1800-2000 calories
- 100-130g protein
- <100g carbs
Iām 35f and I have 30lbs of body fat to lose, and a goal of 10lbs of muscle gain. Iād like to achieve this goal by June 2027.

Hi, Iām vegan and I tried the keto diet yday. I feel completely different. My memory is much improved, Iām not over thinking things, I feel way less emotionally reactive in my head and I feel wholly content. I literally feel 18 years old again before life got me. Is this normal?
Also thank god tofu, seitan and tempeh have so few carbs š

Hey guys
Been vegetarian for 25 years, vegan for 10 years, vegan keto for 3 weeks.
I'm using Cronometer to track and finding it quite easy to hit macros (although not really feeling hungry and trying to eat anyway even on 1200cal/day) but struggling with the micros. I have read it's pretty hard to hit micros on vegan keto. I grow most of my own veg and smash my vitamin C, K and A targets.
I take Methylfolate and Magnesium glycenate already.
Does anyone have any good supplement suggestions to fill in the gaps? I've found a few but wanted to get some opinions before I splosh the dosh š
Last time I had bloods done, they were all fine but that was before going keto
Appreciate the input āļøšæāØ

Hello! I am very new to all of the things, but iāve been wanting to go vegan forever now, and i know itās not an all at once thing, but i am looking forward to trying. I am also trying to do keto as well for my diabetes so I am very excited to find this group!
Do yall have any staple meals or foods that you keep in rotation? Things that are easier?

Hello all,
Have done keto prior to gallbladder removal and am finding that I'm really wanting to focus on whole foods this time around. Does anybody have resources, meal plans, books that I can read about this? With my gallbladder gone, eating a straight-up half an avocado is a huge no-no for my body now. Terrible GI fallout every time. Everything has to be in moderation or mixed with other macro groups. I'm not even sure that keto is going to work for me with these restrictions. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas pop to mind? Thanks!

After following HCLF vegan for most of the time, I tried Vegan Keto again. I must said I am pleased with the results so far. Can“t speak about my labs because I haven“t tested (HCLF really lowered my cholesterol and my LDL), but I really don“t feel hungry anymore. My strength and endurance are pretty much the same despite a lower Kcal intake, which is also a surpirse. Maybe it is the fact that food is more boring, but I can go 24hs without eating; in the past I have to take a shitload of caffeine to do a OMAD, but now it is super easy. Some days I ate a few nuts before my main meal, sometimes I a eat twice a day. The fun part is that if I don“t track, I can barely surpass the 1000 kcal
Here are my staples: tofu, lupini beans, edamame, flax chia and other seeds, seitan, cacao powder, pea protein powder, leafy green, cruciferous vegs, berries, almond, pecans, walnuts, olives, avocados (probably the single best food item in this diet), nut butters and occasionally coconut based products. Please suggest others!

Has anyone experienced an upset stomach and very loose stools with vegan Keto?
The first time I did vegan Keto in the run up to some major dental surgery I was loose but didnāt have cramps or feel feel poorly with it.
Iāve attempted twice since then and itās really wiped me and had a serious impact on my life. Needing to be nr a loo and very very tired and grumpy.
The only difference I can see is that in the run up to surgery my dentist had me on all sorts of supplements as well. After about 10 days each time Iām done!
I am curious why this happens. I liked the vegan Keto for lowering my weight. Iām a post menopausal woman who leans toward the heavier side of things if Iām not careful.
Iām now going for somewhere in between with low carb - letting beans, root veg etc back in and an occasional bit of bread:/
My diet pre keto has been mostly whole food vegan.
Interested to hear whether other folk have experienced and whether it shifts.
