Is this one of those hacked account AI uploads?
Or can valve possibly count to 3?

My steam controller came in yesterday, and I was curious if there were any other Easter eggs on it. I already know about the willhelm scream, but are there any others? (Especially any relating to portal)

Which Valve game most deserves a film adaptation and why?
Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 both have PvP and PvE modes. For those who've tried both in both games, which game do you prefer or like more for each mode / style?

Hi.
So a friend of mine had his steam account permanently lock because steam said he broke some ssa rules.
context: i'll be honest.
He has 6 accounts in his steam guard in the same phone. 2 of which was hand overed by his friend for him to have and take items he wants since they already quit playing. he these for few months now. so his main account which he had since 2014 and originally created by him got permanent lock with SSA being the main reason.
3 of these accounts got temporarily banned the same day. then he appealed to have his main account temporary lock to be lifted. he never mentioned to steam that 2 of his other accounts was also temporarily banned.
also, he buys items from other people personally and be traded to his account to be sold in steam market after a few weeks of using.
His other friends (owner of 2 accounts) still have the first email of both accounts. since his main account got SSA permanent lock, maybe from steam thinking he hijacked these accounts? (he can still send ticket using the 2 alternate accounts and these accounts are in state of temporary lock due to suspicious user trying to access his account, is what said in steam alert statement).
Will he still have a chance? when the other 2 accounts can prove using the first email that these accounts where not hijacked but hand overed to a friend of theirs? or it's still illegal? what should he do to have a possible permanent account lifter on his main account?
He can provide everything to recover his account. has the first email, purchases of steam wallet codes and can possibly send a lot of evidence for it. same for the 2 accounts just to prove that he didn't hijack any ot of these accounts if steam really thinks he hijacked something.
and what should be his gameplan for this? can he be 100% honest with steam and tell about this? his main account has a lot of valuable items and with a lot of steam wallet funds.
Thank you so much. he's also willing to pay someone that can guide him through.

So, i was just searching around vinted , trying to get myself a physical copy of left4dead 1 and 2 and i saw this. Isnt this like the beta version or at least rare? I have yet to find any copy like this online and i need your help, is this even real? Its 4€ fyi. I have found a picture that is exactly the same that is on the cover, so it confirms that it is the beta/ early playermodels, so my final question is : “ is this rare? “ . Thank you!

I had an interesting situation with steam recently, but im not going to get into names of the game and start an argument over who is correct.
I contacted steam over a legitimate refund reason and basically got told "No" very bluntly and directed to their terms.
After expressing the issue i had an explaining how it conflicts with my consumer rights steam said to me "If i contact the bank and start a chargeback then they will ban my account" Apparently my consumer rights don't exists because they created a TOS page.
Steam threatened to ban my whole steam account, many years old with hundreds of games trying to refund something. I explained the breech of my consumer rights and they could not care. Just "No, we will ban your account"
Now for one this is illegal and technically blackmail, and for two, steam uses this cushy scam to pull developers onto the platform as basically sell whatever you want, we will battle the refunds for you with illegal fake terms and blackmail people.
In the end i charged it back anyway, pasted a reply from my bank directly to them and they were forced to unlock my steam account.

This is just a shower though at this point, but could it be possible that lawsuits threatening to make loot boxes and skin trading illegal, are resulting in higher prices for the steam deck and steam machine?
There are companies that have millions of dollars worth of skins that they buy and sell.
They are now threatened with the market being made illegal.
They need to liquidate their inventory to mitigate risk.
This creates a sense of urgency. All capital that is contained within a steam wallet, which would have been used for trading, now needs to be realized.
This could either be done through selling gifted games, or better yet, purchasing hardware from valve. You can buy valve hardware using your steam wallet. I recently realized that I had ~$1200 worth of random cs:go boxes on an account and bought a steam deck with it.
The liquidization/realization of the skin/loot box trading market in the threat of it's elimination has upward pressure on Valve's hardware prices.
Thank you for listening to my ted talk.

We are the Gabe, lower your expectations and prepare to be entertained. Your steam library and non steam games will be added to our own. Linux is optional.
My beautiful steam machine arrived and I couldn’t help but notice a cybernetic resemblance. Mini metal Enterprise D kit for scale. 🖖⏹️

I'm curious what these games will look like on Xbox 360, I've always dreamed of having a physical version of these games, also I bought Portal 2 with this bundle. I also didn't want to buy portal: still alive because I don't trust what's happening with consoles now, what if they suddenly remove my acces to the game. I've already played all the games on my computer, but I think this will be a great opportunity to play them again.
