Another post about my move to Vallejo with my daughter.
Parents, I need help! I have been trying to enroll my daughter into Benicia Middle School. She has been on the waitlist for a month, I thought the process would be quicker due to the fact I have a job in Benicia.
However, if she doesn’t get into BMS, where do I take her? Everyone tells me the schools in Vallejo are bad.

I had my first appointment at Vallejo family dentistry today. It was a strange vibe in there. I asked to see the female dentist and the male dentist came in. I was too embarrassed to tell him. I really wanted to see the female dentist. I’ve heard amazing things about her, and I prefer a female. After looking at my broken tooth and going on and on and on about all the different ways he could fix it he settled on telling me I need a crown and it’s gonna be $2300. For one crown with my insurance that gives me an out-of-pocket expense of $1200. I have had crowns before and never have I ever been quoted this much in my life and I’m 50 years old. I called around after I left the dentist to two other dentists right in the same area and one quoted me 800 total that would mean 400 out-of-pocket and the other quoted me $1500 total that would mean 750 out-of-pocket I called Vallejo family dental back and asked why they were so much more expensive than everyone else in the area and her answer was” Well we use better products here than everyone else.” people don’t go here. They are just trying to make money. They’re not trying to help and as soon as I told the Dr things were a little tight for me and I would have to get a consultation and get back to him and see what I could afford. He immediately started walking me to the front and showing me the way out.

I tried exploring mare island before and found that sections of it were blocked off. Today on the ferry I see cars in that’s section and people fishing off a dock that was closed before. Does anyone know if they opened that section behind the old golf course? The picture provides shows cars on the dock where folks where fishing

Me and my daughter recently moved to Vallejo, she wrestled last year in Sacramento at school. Is there any wrestling clubs nearby that anyone would recommend? (Specifically a girls wrestling club)
Edit: I forgot to mention she is a 7th grader going onto 8th.

Looking for some local recommendations for a commercial kitchen rental either here in Vallejo or in the county. I'd also like real reviews of ones that didn't work out for your business. I see Morgen's Kitchen and possibly GVRD as far as local places, and am awaiting responses from them.

Went to the same place my dad always went when I was a child. As it was my first time getting my car smog checked, didn't even think to check around as it's always just been the place we go to get smog

Anyone live close to Columbus Pkwy want to start a monthly little pick up with me?
We need 3 bags of trash on a regular schedule to get it picked up for free. Today I spent two hours and only did two bags
So I was thinking: two hours a month on a Saturday morning. And I can organize the trash trailer with the city.
Send me a dm with your email or phone to join!
Thank you!
Sara

To sum up, am looking for:
Records from Old Redwood Inn
Anyone remember a man named Joseph Franklin in Vallejo in late 60's?
DMV question.
I realize this is a big longshot, but am researching the Zodiac case but was wondering if by chance anyone knows whether the old Redwood Inn I believe in Benecia if they would by a long chance have records of who stayed there in the late 60's?
there is an old police report I will screenshot this of an incident that happened there as it was a possible "Zodiac" related person of interest.
A person named "Jimmy" was getting violent there and this happened in I believe 1969 early that year or so.
Anyone know if the records are still around?
Second, if anyone can elaborate on this story here I will post the police file from which I am trying to research.

The reason I am intersted in this report is because the person i am researching was "Jimmy", but most likely they were staying under an alias, which is why it would be interesting to get any records of who stayed there at the Redwood Inn if still available.
Another longshot:
I have the aliases of the individual whom I am investigating and most likely I am thinking he went under his name Joseph Paul Franklin. He would have been around 18 but slightly I am thinking older looking, most likely due to his later behavior would have liked to have chatted/flirted/picked up women. Any stories of a mysterious man name Joseph at all from anyone in the area at that time? He would have been most likely very aggressive/violent and most likely ranted about the Jews or white supremacy if anyone remembers someone like that.
Here are his known aliases:

This is his later picture in case anyone wants to see:

If anyone is good with DMV research, please comment or inbox me, as it would be great to chat.
I realize this was long ago but just looking for the needle in the haystack in case anyone can give either info or leads or perhaps ideas on where to look next. For additional info I have sent the local authorities his fingerprints, but I have yet to get a response am thinking this killers prints were never run to check against any possible Zodiac involvement to the best of my knowledge.
As an additional question, does anyone have any interesting Zodiac. related stories, perhaps from family or anything you want to share, please comment would be interesting to get your comments.
