Again should have advertised during the world cup

i’m local to the team and want to support! what do i need to know?

Any recent word on how likely it is that Sporting Cascades, Fort Lauderdale, Port St Lucie, and Thousand Oaks Pro Soccer are to actually enter the league?

Feels like with any batch of new sides that like 25-50% of them don't actually make it, and the fact that Thousand Oaks don't have a name yet is pretty concerning, but from the sounds of the other camps they seem somewhat more likely!

Sporting Cascades also poached Richmond's coach which is definitely something.

Thinking of taking fam and friends to watch the "NY" Cosmos for the first time in their newly renovated Hinchliffe stadium, I went on SeatGeek to score some tickets at the their game tomorrow (26 hours away). I was SHOCKED to see the cheapest Cosmos tickets are $42 each (see red arrow in the picture). Wut?! I have potentially ten ppl going, and we haven't even figured out the parking situation.

In contrast, tix next week's game at Westchester are only $12 each (orange arrow), a bargain, especially as parking is free at the adjacent public mall. The neighborhood in that well-to-do area is also much leafier and nicer than much of Paterson.

So, does this exorbitant, inflexible ticket pricing explain much of the Cosmos' attendance woes this season? The prices may drop in the coming hours, but we may have already decided on alternative plans. Your thoughts??

Edit: I realize the WSC game listed above is on Wed., but Saturday WSC games also feature $12 tix --I checked!

UPDATE:  https://www.nycosmos.com/single-match-tickets/ still shows cheapest non-Supporters' Section tickets at $24, still far more than WSC's prices.

UPDATE 2: closer to gametime, the Cosmos ticket prices have come down a bit. Supporters' section prices went from $24 yesterday to $15 now (9 hours before kickoff (hat tip to u/cluttered_thoughts3 !)). Still wished the prices had come down quicker, when we were making our plans.

HI everyone. Although I went to my first USL match back in 2018, since then, it's been flying under the radar for me, interest-wise. I was (and still am) excited to learn that the USL will be getting promotion/relegation starting in the 2028 season. Now, with the FIFA World Cup taking place, it rekindled an interest in the sport and got me excited about the future of the USL system.

I'm already familiar with my "local" SG group (the nearest USL 1 team is about 1 hr 30 minutes away from me) as well as the USL on Youtube channel. How else would you recommend that I dive deeper into this league system?

Just released an episode on the USMNT World Cup run and am hoping to use it to drum up support for USL and our domestic clubs to get US soccer to improve. If you have any feedback or support is appreciated.

Alex Ashton has been writing banger analyses and articles about the USL1 in his League One Updater for a while. His recent post entitled: "The Expansion Class of 2026: How It's Going So Far"^ goes through the roster of each of the five new clubs, how they are doing, their fan attendance, and their respective supporters' group (or lack of).

It seems that the on-pitch performance and fan attendance is proportional to the presence of a Supporter's Group (SG). The bottom three clubs seem to lack the SG or have SGs with a robust presence; I quote his writing below.

Questions: Are any members of those SGs on this community and can chime in? About how it's going? What makes them optimistic....or not?

Anybody know why Forward Madison didn’t report attendance last night?
