I thought they were released 6 weeks before the semester starts

Hey!- incoming freshman here. I was poking around online and can't really find any good dimensions of Calhoun's dorm rooms. I was wondering if anyone had any / knows of anything that could help at all? I specifically have a single within the upper floors.
(For medical reasons.)

I just want to try and model the room in 3d so ik what I'm getting into before going in. (...mainly if I need to put in a "bed adjustment" request lols.)

Okay, so I’m an incoming student set to major in Digital Media Collaborative.
I picked DMC as my major because it seemed like the safest option for me after deciding psychology wasn’t it for me. I love media, I like to create, so I thought “hey, this sounds fun!” and rolled with it. I’ve already done my advising for my classes but I find myself having second thoughts.
When I think about my future career, I think about creating storylines for films/video games, being on camera for god knows what, being a radio personality, content creation, or even getting into voice acting. I just like to interact with others, create, and share!
But, issue is, I have no idea how to do any of these things…at all. Never done any of it before. Though, it seems like every DMC freshman around me already has a portfolio to show for and all I’ve got is a last minute decision to stay in the arts and not go the structured, science-y route.
Not only this, I’m not a visual/fine artist. Not the best artist, definitely not a graphic designer, and I’ve not a clue how that world even works.
The reason I say this is because I’ve heard DMC is a very independent major and I’m worried that with my inexperience I’ll fall behind. Plus, I’ve seen a lot of DM majors talk about graphic design and I’m not necessarily into that. I know on the website it says there’s a bunch of careers that I’m interested in that are possible with this degree, but I want to know from other students if this major is right for me or if I should make a last minute appointment to switch over. I don’t want to take courses that risk me falling behind or don’t interest me.

I need a job for this semester, but I'm starting to loose hope in finding one because of my schedule, since 3 days of the week I don't get out classes until 4. What's the best places to apply to because I need something

I’m about to start my 2nd year, my first semester I did so horribly and my gpa sucked so bad that I had to switch majors. I did much better in my classes my second semester once I’d switched, but I still couldn’t get my GPA back up enough to meet the Cincinnatus scholarship requirement in just one semester. I also didn’t get all my service hours. I think I already know the answer to this, but am I completely cooked, or is there any option at all where I could fix this? I know there is an appeal process but i’m not sure I qualify for that. Any help appreciated 🫠

I've tried posting in several fb housing groups, but my posts have been sitting in the approval queue for four days and I haven't heard back from the group admins. Since I'm new to fb, I'm not sure if this is normal or if there's something I'm missing.

Friendly reminder that spotted lanternflies have reached maturity and are easy to spot flying about and resting on the pavement.

If you aren't already familiar, the spotted lanternfly is a highly invasive insect within the Eastern US and poses a significant threat to both agricultural crops and local ecology.

There are currently vast numbers of them between Calhoun and Siddall, especially hiding in the bushes and clustering at the base of the buildings. When you have a few minutes, I'd encourage you to go out and kill some! Many people have already been hard at work, but there are still that many more to kill.

It's easy to feel like killing a few won't do much, but every female spotted lanternfly can produce up to a hundred more, so it goes a long way in the long run.

Hey guys, I am currently a incoming junior with hopes to attend a bsmd program at the University of Cinncinnatti or toledo. I currently have a weighted gpa of 4.167 and uw of 3.979. I took a ccp class over the summer and did not do good on it and got a C. those are weighted the same as a AP class. I am planning on taking all the important APs like chem and bio next yera and I think will get As on them. That C was in english. My act right now is a 32 and I plan to do it again for atleaast a 34. I can send my transcript too if that would help.

I heard that job market is really cooked and even HPC engineering don't even code anymore, just prompt AI. So should I switch to safer options like Aerospace Engineering or Electrical or should I just stay in CS.

My daughter was assigned a double in UPA. Does anyone know if all the doubles in UPA are the 2 bedroom 1.5 bath configuration? Or is there a 1 bedroom option for doubles? We are trying to plan what to bring. Thank you!

My dorm assignment says “Calhoun traditional multiple” and only lists my one roommate. Do I have a quad or a double because I honestly don’t know what multiple means in this situation.

I'm going to be a freshman in the fall, and I'm going to major in Media Production. I'm very excited about the classes, but I've recently figured out that there doesn't seem to be a lot of classes regarding the art side of film (specifically prop making and puppetry). So, I plan on teaching myself how to make them, but I was wondering if there are any communities or organizations which have access to craft supplies or have people with similar passions?
