Hi, my account yesterday out of nowhere started acting weird. My comments and replies cannot be seen under a normal post, not even under “show more”. When i like/quote/repost something, it doesn’t show to the other person. I have zero violations and i haven’t received any email regarding this. Another thing i’d like to mention is that if you look at a thread of mine, the previous replies/tweets would say “post is unavailable”. My question is if someone knows why that is and what can i do? My account is not suspended too!
It happened after I tried a new method that, honestly, I haven't seen anywhere or from anyone else. Or maybe it was just a stupid coincidence. I tried this new unban method, and on the very same day my account was restored.
I really want to share it with everyone because it could help a lot of people, but at the same time I'm a little worried that if it gets too much attention, they might patch it and close this loophole.
I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone going through the same thing. I also hope we can identify if there's a pattern behind these suspensions and maybe figure out how to reduce the chances of it happening again.
What happened
First suspension
16/07/26 – 6:23 AM
Reason:Inauthentic behaviour
I submitted my first appeal at 7:25 AM, and by 7:47 AM my account was restored.
Since it was restored so quickly, I assumed everything was fine. I continued using my account normally liking a few posts and bookmarking some movie edits. Everything worked perfectly.
Second suspension
Three days later...
19/07/26 – 7:27 AM
Reason:Inauthentic behaviour (again)
This time I genuinely panicked.
I appealed immediately, but at 5:32 PM I received an email saying my appeal had been rejected.
That was the moment I thought I had permanently lost my account.
What I tried
At first, my account was only logged in on my desktop (Brave Browser).
I then:
Installed the X app on my phone.
Tried logging in using my username + phone number, but it didn't work.
Tried logging in using my email, and it worked.
Logged into Brave Browser on my phone as well.
Even though the account was suspended:
I couldn't post, reply, like posts, or repost.
My Following list, Bookmarks, and Media tabs were unavailable.
I could still see random posts on my Home feed based on my algorithm.

On 20/07/26, I tried appealing again from my phone's web browser because I couldn't submit an appeal through the X app.
It simply said my original request was still pending and asked me to wait. So... I waited.
Nothing happened.
Later that day, I logged into my account on my mom's phone. This time I was able to log in using my username and password, which surprised me and gave me a little hope.
By this point, I was mentally exhausted and honestly sad about losing my account. Since I could still browse some posts, I just kept scrolling while waiting for the 48-hour cooldown so I could submit another appeal.
Final appeal
On 22/07/26 around 12:05 AM, I submitted another appeal.
This time I used an appeal template that someone had previously shared on this subreddit.
Later that day...
22/07/26 – 10:44 PM
I received the email saying my account had been restored.
As I'm writing this post 23/07/26 my account is again suspended.
My observations
These are just my personal observations not confirmed facts.
Appealing seems to be the only real option available.
If you're a Premium user or you know someone who have a premium, maybe contacting Premium Support could help, but I honestly don't know.
X never clearly explains what triggered the suspension or what exactly needs to be fixed.
That's one of the reasons I'm making this post. If enough people share their experiences, maybe we can identify a common pattern.
There are definitely some issues with the X platform, and it feels like the platform is going through some major changes. This suspension issue may be a part of that, but that's just my speculation.
If your account is suspended...
All I want to say is: don't delete your X account. Leave it as it is and keep submitting appeals.
I've seen people get their accounts back within days, while others have been waiting for months. I know how frustrating and hopeless it feels, So please don't lose hope. There's still a chance you'll get your account back
The real question is...When?
What I'm doing now
For now, I'm not going to do much with my account.
I'll mostly just scroll and avoid unnecessary interactions.
I've also created a Bluesky account and started using it. I'm not going to rely on X alone anymore. I'm starting to use other alternatives as well, and I'd recommend doing the same.
If anyone has suggestions, tips, or similar experiences, I'd love to hear them.
Its been happening for months, dare I say almost a year and a half!!! What's going on??!! I feel like they only unban users who have other people to advocate for them, or people get unbanned from luck! You'd think they'd have fix it by now. I also have a theory that theyre suspending people who interact with left, or centrist tweets. Anyone who doesnt, can you respond to this? I'm trying to see if theres a pattern to this, or if it truly is random;
Prior to the last update, I was able to receive 49 notification cards, now when I check my phone I have 9 or 10. I looked it up and it said that I needed to turn off the quality filter. I have done this and I'm still only getting up to 10 at a time. What do I need to do to fix this?
Is this a bug others are having? It’s been like this for me for 24 hours and I‘ve seen others say the same thing too. My notifications are not working, and my tweets and replies are all getting zero views, let alone replies. Is this a systemwide issue?
Context: I was on “x” I deleted a BUNCH of posts from a game where if I posted something about it, I got a free (random) cosmetic, I prob didn’t it 100 times, which I prob can’t see any posts because I deleted a bunch of posts and an either a AI or person that thought “someone hacked them and is deleting there posts” which they could see but it wasn’t, I just want confirmation that’s what it is so I don’t think “I’ve been some sort of shadow banned”
So like may others a few weeks ago I got the "Let's confirm you are a human" page whenever I tried to use x.com, and I thought oh well, I'll just stop using the site. I however need to access my account again to find something I have saved, so I caved in and downloaded the mobile app.
However, whenever I try to sign in it just says "Please use official X apps to proceed or try again later." even though I AM using the X app from the google play store on my Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone using Android 9.
I've seen that the fix is to create a passkey but I cant even access the site without the unpassable pop-up so I'm really just lost on what to do.
My account was suspended monce ago by their IA for spam/botting ... I was liking a lot of tweet in a short time laps because of an event I like and was suspended after that... I try asking for review of that jugdment but i'm stuck in a bot aswer loop ... at first the automated repley were lire " it was fales your acount is back " but it was never back , but now they say they are not wrong and they keep it suspended and I have to do thing on my account to clear it but I can't acces anything....
Am I screw? did I need to delete this account and create a new one? Any help is welcome ...

I saw something similar on Reddit and it looks like it’s happened to me. I’ve been really active lately and getting a lot of interactions, it’s been so fun! I’ve made friends, my account has grown. And then… the last few days I noticed my interactions were far less than normal.
However, I ignored it. Because some of my posts still did REALLY well. Then today, I barely got anything. So I found this website that detects shadow ban and I got the attached
I’m very upset tbh. Because everything is telling me to stop doing ANYTHING for days. No likes, no reposts, no comments… only bookmarks. The most frustrating part is, i got 2.1k impressions in 3 hours but only 20 likes. I checked with GROK / Chat GPT, and the shadow ban is the reason. I can still reach people, but my interactions? Basically none. Someone reposted my edit as well and it did really well so this is why it’s not an issue with my content
Is there really nothing I can do? Do I really just have to wait for days and not interact? Is there really no way to make the process quicker?
I’m currently posting for a campaign, so to just stop feels wrong, like I’m not supporting anymore. But my reach and this ban is basically making anything I do pointless.
What upsets me the most. Is a lot of my moots are also: posting a lot, sometimes hourly, over using tags, and nobody is affected. Just me. I just got unlucky :(

My account got suspended by X’s faulty AI system the other day. I sent an appeal telling X support that I did not do anything wrong or break any of their rules. They sent me this email after 1 day of “reviewing”.
Like.. “inauthentic accounts”? Seriously?

Just yesterday, a blackout happened in my neighborhood, and when it came back, new posts were not loading. I tried restarting the phone, re-downloading the app, and reconnecting to my Internet after disconnecting again. Nothing seems to be working please help.
Yes as you're seeing I got unsuspended after three months and I don't know how, last two days they rejected my appeal but maybe they realized somehow that I'm hacked

As you can see I have 12.5K total posts, I could see my posts before but now when viewing them as myself or on my backup account, it’s showing as if I have never posted at all. Can someone please tell me what’s going on? Is this normal for a ghost ban oa d should I just keep waiting for a few more days and keep likes and reposts to a low? I have dm’d the official X premium support account and was told I can keep it to a minimum, I just want this label that was put on my to go away already.
So I’ve been appealing since October/November of 2025. I’ve been appealing every other day to every week, using ChatGPT to write my appeal. I’ve done everything from saying I’m sorry, to making sure to it will never happen again. Every time I appealed I made sure it was written differently. If you keep sending the same appeal you will not get a response. I kept getting denied until I had the chat re write it and say I deleted all content that made me get suspended. I have a NSFW account and was suspended for deleting and reposting content.
