Visited Owasso in MI recently, and found these amazing trees. We could not figure out what they were. Really cool bark, little leaves, and google/chat/plant id apps were no help. Any ideas?

This is in south eastern MI

I haven't been able to accurately nail down what type of tree this is. Google Lens always gives me mixed answers.

Also can you tell me if I can eat it?

This guy popped up on the edge of my driveway about 2 months ago. I’m curious if it’s something worth trying to transplant.

We are in western Colorado. Plant is around 3 feet tall.

Hi all! I've been on a mission to ID everything in my yard, my primary goal for my yard is native ecosystem support. Located in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Is this a red, white or hybrid Mulberry? I've read up a bit so I realize it's likely a hybrid, but just in case I want to ask the tree experts of reddit. Even the tiniest possibility of pulling an endangered species is horrifying to me.

And if it's a hybrid my follow up question is: should I remove it? Is that the best thing to do if I care about the whole native species thing?

Hi all,
I’m having trouble identifying this tree I found while in Northern Alabama. Not pictured is the wood, which was thin, smooth and a light green color. There were only a small number of them in specific part of the trail which makes me think they weren’t native, as there were also patches of bamboo shoots and kudzu, among some other non-native plants. Thank you!

Some ficus tree that my dad has been growing in the backyard. Pretty sure it is some kind of strangler/banyan fig since it got a lot of aerial roots.

I know this is a poor picture for ID but thats kinda the point of this post. Its located on my property in the thumb of Michigan. It is roughly elm shaped as far as the canopy goes but mature elms that large are rare due to DED. This tree is almost completely overtaken by wild grapevines. If you zoom in on the second image you can almost make out leaf shape and arrangement. Other trees of this size in the area are Sugar maples, cottonwoods, paper birches, black cherries, box elders, and aspens. Thank-you in advance. If it is a living mature elm, then its the largest ive seen still alive in the area and I will make an effort to mitigate the grape vines. Next time im at the property i will try and take a closer look but it’s thick in there.

Also it is known to produce any type of berry?
