My apartment is at it again with the landlord specials

The solution to our lighting problem apparently is not fixing the actual light fixture that has been broken for two years. Instead, we get various mismatched lights zip-tied to the rails!

Sick of the dock falling on its face, so today I made a dock ‘stand’

Dock has fallen on its face 4 times now with a slight bump from the back, every time it happens I always think next time I’ll take the switch out of the dock before doing anything around it but always forget to.

I didn’t want to stick Velcro or anything to the dock itself so used double sided tape and Lego. Lego for the win 👌

In one foot of pipe there was PVC, galvanized, and copper. All held together by electrical tape, wire scraps and all the hose clamps.

Pulled this "fix" out at a job site, put in a regular knob. Don't probe me for more info.

Saw this at a cafe recently. This has the air of desperation after many attempts of repair.
