Just making this post for two reasons:
MLS states 22 of the 30 teams are participating in this promotion, but it doesn't list which ones are not.
If you search for it in Google, or ask Chat GPT, it can't figure out which franchises aren't participating, and it may lead you on a goose chase if you're asking about Toronto FC.
I reached out to Toronto FC staff through their fan app, and got confirmation TFC is not participating in the MLS-wide promotion. Don't install any apps, or create any MLSE accounts, as AI tools may tell you to do. Hopefully this post will improve those search results.

it better turn out that someone is blackmailing fraser cuz genuinely what the fuck have they been doing for the past 2 seasons, we have a team with Daniel Salloi, JOSH SARGENT, Djordje Mihailovic, Richie Lareya, Walker Zimmerman, and Ben Kuscevic and we're scraping for points against teams at the bottom of the table, I could kinda understand it last year because we had a weak roster and it was Fraser's first year as head coach but this game was inexcusable. Our injury crisis is over and almost the whole team has had a whole world cup to prepare and train for this game so you would expect some kind of improvement but instead of getting the ball to our $20,000,000 striker or starting our $8,000,000 cam they decided to shove their thumb up their ass and made them run cardio until the wildfire smoke got to their head and stopped them from making the most obvious attacking passes known to mankind. in short get Fraser out

Am I watching 11 guys doing a cardio workout or am I watching the treble winning MLS team??
90 whole fucking minutes i watched this shithousery of a team performance either pass backwards (especially malik henry who was pretty poor) or do these stupid ass longballs that make me wanna strangle myself because it either goes straight to a montreal defender or we lose the aerial battle, i think the few times we did actually keep possession and move the ball to montreal's third, we would either do some cross that would get blocked and end up to fucking noone, or sky the ball 5 god damn meters across the bar.
Apart from just the absolute low of quality of seen of TFC, the tactic behind it all is whats genuinely infuriating to watch. I dont know who robin fraser thinks he is but the efficiency of the midfield, flank support, and set peice tactics NEED to change.
Back to malik henry, made by far the most atrocious plays all night long, a literal bag of fucking sand on the field. Holy, whenever he got the ball he would either pass it backwards, or lose possession. my eyes were genuinely bleeding watching this guy do straight fucking cardio. (not to excuse the team but this guy just stood out)
Thank goodness montreal were also bum awful today, I could make a whole rant on why they are also an insufferable team to watch, but just grateful we got a draw, im honestly surprised it wasnt 3-0. we would genuinely have our asses whooped if we played like this against Vancouver or Miami.
Yea Fraser gotta go end of story.

World Cup final is great and all but its time to get pumped up to beat the Impact Club Foot!
(As much as reasonably possible with Fraser running things, but lets get it going!)

As the title suggests, is there any recent news regarding Mihailovic? Reading some older articles, it seems he could already be eligible for the return to action against Montreal on July 17th? Is it unlikely he'll start? Thanks!

Toronto FC have to have a big summer or Robin Fraiser is out of a job. They added Josh Sargent but will it be enough? The reds havent made the playoffs since 2019!!! This is such a crucial summer for them!

Wondering which academy is better at identifying talents and scouting them into their academy eventually to first team etc. I may have an opportunity to move to Montreal and overall was wondering how is the football there/their youth football system and if its as bad as Ontarios. Thanks!

Context: Former season ticket holder (2022-24, sec 207), just moved closer to the stadium and debating getting back in on season tickets — which are now significantly more than when I first got in.
Attended (suffered through) pretty much every home match for three years, been totally out of the loop since. Know the team is still not great, but looking for insight into where the squad is at, the general pulse of other STHs, etc.
Cheers!

Hi everybody, my dad has been a season ticket holder for 10 years now, since 2006 when only half seasons were available. His birthday is coming up and I wanted to give him a special experience at the game like upgrading his seats or something like that. I inquired about premium seating but it's for members only not season ticket holders, any advice or tips on who to call/what to do? He hasn't been recognized at any game and we have been going for years. Thanks!!

Not a major announcement, but since our club has been absolutely plagued with injury the past few years, I'm glad there is some sort of movement/momentum on that front. Was with Tottenham then Brighton prior.

Local paper shared this, anyone have any insight? https://www.barrietoday.com/local-sports/column-could-potential-downtown-stadium-be-home-to-tfc-reserve-team-12499283
UPDATE!!!
The project to build a stadium in downtown Barrie to house the reserve team of Toronto Football Club (TFC) will be announced next week.
BarrieToday has learned that representatives from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE), the City of Barrie and a body called the Barrie Stadium Group will make the announcement Tuesday, July 14 at 1 p.m. at Meridian Place.
A copy of an invitation sent out by the city titled "The World's Game Comes to Barrie" asks invitees to "join us for a landmark announcement for our city."
The announcement is expected to detail plans to build a stadium to host the TFC’s reserve team that plays out of the MLS Next Pro, a league that is considered the third tier in the American soccer hierarchy.
For reference, the Simcoe County Rovers play in the League1 Ontario, which is the third tier of the Canadian league system, but the two loops are separate.
