I have an open case against someone and they violated bail by coming to my residence so I wanted to report it to the police. Cue 1 month of being ignored, ghosted and dismissed by the "detective" investigating the case.

In the voice note he says he needs to contact the prosecutor first to find out if the person can be arrested for bail violation. That's what I've been waiting on ever since. Absolutely no professionalism in his responses, his last message is just him saying he's in another city.

To people in countries with good service delivery, I envy you.

A random number sent me the first image out of nowhere, I replied in kind, and that was the end of the whole interaction. Just a funny moment that still makes me laugh every so often lol

This happened to me, got out military, and could focus on myself,money and fitness more.

Started posting on my socials and she saw i was back in.

Saw someone message me and it was a chick who rejected me back high school…after that I just moved on knowing she didn’t choose me.

She single mom and dad is in jail, came to me about alot of her problems and even talking about its been a struggle to pay for her kids surgery,medical and that she made a mistake.

Every time i tried to make plans she would be busy, kids things or something came up.

Some additional context: these are old texts between me and my ex that I found while going through my old phone. He was a huge stoner and was awful about texting back. Like 4-6 hours later. It was a daily reoccurring thing. Idt I was genuinely upset with him here, I don't really remember, but I was def being kind of a dickhead lol.

Edit: lmao this was in like 2018. We dated from our early teens to early 30s. We were probably like 25-26 here. Y'all are so killin me 😂😂😂

earlier tonight, around 12, i was invited out with some friends. my boyfriend (above, 17) seemed okay at first, but not even an hour into the hang out, he seemed to be getting irritated and dry, as you see above. he was irritated with me because i wasn’t able to facetime and talk to him. this was the last few texts, prior, he asked 3 more times. i’m very neurodivergent, and i don’t know what i did for him to get mad at me, like at all. could someone help me out, please?

let me just say. i don’t want children. and this is on my hinge profile. it is ALSO in my match message or whatever it’s called! so whenever someone matches with me they get a little note that basically says i don’t want children because i already have so many kids in my life and i see myself as an auntie/big sister to all of them and i want to be a part of all their lives in that way.

My aunt(77) in grey, me in blue. This is what happens every 6months to 2 years. If it’s not me, she’s taking it out on whoever few family members still put up with her shit. I’m beginning to think I’m just as crazy for putting up with this on repeat. In all fairness I try to be understanding of everything she’s gone thru (lost a child, crazy meds of the 80’s making her crazier…) but as you can see- it’s still everyone else’s problem. I have no living parents and really want to make this work but daaaayuuumn right?? She’s obviously never going to learn SHE’s the common denominator 🙄.

Maybe I’m wrong. I try to “respect my elder” but this is just abusive behavior.

What do I say instead of I’m praying for you? I’m not religious and always felt weird, not knowing what to say when people die, when people are going through a tough time… “I’m wishing for the best” is all I could come up with?

just thought i’d share this silly, goofy text from my dad to me and my sisters (And a comment left on a family member’s FB post).

for context; what he did was “never speak to him again” worthy and we decided it was best to do in order to protect our children. i won’t detail it since it is not my story, but please know that what happened 100% called for us to cut him off.

also also; my dad suffered a major stroke 11 years ago. he was never religious before his stroke. and after, he became a VERY hardcore Baptist, but never to this extent. But we believe he’s genuinely suffering from religious psychosis currently.

*if anyone has advice or they do believe it’s religious psychosis, please give your opinion. i will 100% take any advice. this is not the dad we grew up with nor is it the dad we have known for 20+ years, even after his stroke.

He lives with me but is currently traveling so there’s a time-zone thing going on.
