Finished Tattoo Tattoo done by Jacob Adame at Prolific Tattoo in ATL.
I got my first tattoo this weekend from Jacob Adame (@adame_tattoz). The piece is on my inner bicep, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
I came in with the general concept and let Jacob put his own spin on it. He was easy to work with, paid attention to the details, and made sure everything flowed well with the shape of my arm. The linework and shading came out exactly how I was hoping.
The inner bicep definitely had some spicy moments, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. I’m currently healing it with SecondSkin and it’s been healing well so far.
Overall, I’m really happy with the experience and the final result. I’d definitely recommend Jacob to anyone looking for quality work.

Design Fine line tattoo ideas, show me your weirdest healed piece
Want my next fine line tattoo to actually feel personal, not 'Pinterest minimalist.' Tired of lavender sprigs and lunar phases (no offense, they're pretty, just everywhere).
Drop your most unconventional fine line piece, bonus points if it's healed and weird and strangers stop you to ask about it. I'm collecting references before my next consult and want to bring something my artist hasn't seen a hundred times.

Questions/Advice Curious if there are any tattoo artists or shops here investing in SEO?
I run a tattoo directory site that’s already starting to bring in leads that turn into real clients. I’m looking to connect with other tattoo websites/artists who might be interested in exchanging backlinks, helping each other grow, and reaching more potential clients.
Feel free to DM me if that sounds interesting.

Questions/Advice Becoming tattoo artist after 30 and critique using reference photo - starting small
galleryHi everyone. First left me apologize if this is not the right place to post I couldn’t find anything in the rules about not being able to post. I’m 30 year olds and would eventually want to become a tattoo artist preferably black and grey realism so I’m learning how to draw as I come from a strict immigrant background so tattooing was never an option for me, so I never gave drawing that much thought when I was younger. I know I need to draw every day so I want to get advice,or critique as this is pretty much from first drawing ever. I did use a reference I found online which seems to be an unofficial fan made Haland Lego that I will also attach. I would like to know if there’s anything I did well and any thing I can did bad and should work on. Please note this is pretty much my first drawing. Off the start I’m sure the torso should be longer and the hands were difficult as well as the hair. I know it will probably be at least 3-5 years until I may draw realism (hopefully sooner) but I would also like any tips as this is my dream. I’m not sure if this is allowed, if not feel free to take the images down but I am attaching the reference photo and my first ever drawing for possible critique. I haven’t watched any YouTube videos or taken lessons so I want to see where I am at starting off.
