Discussion Ashe Support?

I am a former ADC converted to Support a few years ago and I still get the urge to play ADC champs occasionally. I sometimes see Ashe support, but it seems super troll even in my pisslow gold 2 games.

Are there any matchups that Ashe actually does well in or is it always just cheeks? If so what carries do you like playing it with and into what bot lanes do you think it is okay into?

Help Best coaching for engage supports?

Hi all, looking to get unstuck from emerald (fluctuate between e4 and e1) and want a coach to help. A lot of the coaches I see are more of enchanters and I'm looking for engage specific coaching. Coach rogue is too expensive but I really enjoy his style. Does anyone have recommendations for someone cheaper?

Help Help with soloQ champ pool

Hi support mains, I just discovered this community and I’m really happy to have a place to discuss support. I would love to hear your opinions about champion pools.
I’ve always struggled with reducing my champion pool because every champion I enjoy represents a different part of my playstyle. I understand that a smaller pool helps improvement, but I find it really hard to remove champions that I genuinely like.
A bit of context: I climbed solo from Silver playing Pyke, reached Gold with Nami, Plat with Thresh, and eventually Diamond. I’m mainly an enchanter/playmaker support player, although AP Shaco has been my biggest comfort pick for years since I was basically an OTP.
My most played supports are:
AP Shaco
Thresh
Lulu
Pyke
Bard
Zilean
Soraka
Nami
Janna
The easiest one for me to remove would probably be Janna because she is like an enchanter version of AP Shaco.
But the rest feel like they offer something unique:
AP Shaco: counter-engage, bush control, vision traps, roaming and scaling.
Thresh: probably the most complete support, but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth playing him when teammates don’t use lantern.
Lulu: when I have a hypercarry that I can play around.
Pyke: against immobile compositions when I want to play aggressive and snowball.
Zilean: against assassins or comps that can easily access my backline.
Soraka: classic front-to-back support who can completely take over fights if she survives.
Nami: I feel extremely confident with my bubbles and she might be my strongest pure enchanter.
Bard: Only add if im going to soecialize more and more
My question is not really “should I play only 2-3 champions?” because I already understand the advantages of a small pool.
What I’m interested in is:
How do you personally decide which champions to remove from your pool when you enjoy them all?
Do you prioritize:
having one champion for each situation?
keeping only the ones that fit your identity?
removing champions that overlap?
or do you just accept a bigger pool and focus on knowing exactly when to pick each one?
I’d also love to hear what your support pool looks like and why you chose those champions.
Thanks!

Discussion Support Item Gold Tracker

I’m not sure if I messed with a setting or missed a patch note; but my support item only shows procs left now (1,2,3). No longer is the gold progress shown on my display. Did something change? Or is this a user error?

Thanks in advance!

Help New player looking for champ pool recommendations

Sorry I am pretty damn new so my apologies if this is addressed somewhere else or whatever!

I really like healers and enchanters.

I love nami with her bouncing heals and kick ass bubble. I like lulu where I can buff the shit out of the homies. I've been recommended Senna a bunch but never really vibed with her as she is more aggressive than I usually like.

I also kinda like tanky engage heroes too but mostly I like being reactive supporty healing champs where I am far from the front lines.

Soraka looks cool but I'm always low health with her until I get that item that makes you constantly heal yourself.

I am in Iron.

Looking for a champ pool 2-3 big hopefully that is diverse enough that I can account for most situations.
