Have never heard any SCI at all, but I have heard of them and know they’re well regarded in the jam scene. I enjoy the dead, and was wondering if everyone here thinks it’d be worth $120+ to see a band I don’t know.

And yes, I understand that I’m asking the band’s subreddit/their fans if I should go.

I know it’s a long shot but If anyone was on the bus2show Sams downtown bus and found a blue Corduroy hat with a dancing bear head and several pins, I would love to have my hat back. I wanted to write this post after experiencing what may have been the best live show I have ever been to.

Me and my friend are both English. We have never been to Denver before and the only thing we were both told about extensively was Red Rocks. Id seen footage online about the venue carved into a mountain so we were both excited to book a ticket to a random gig. That gig was The String Cheese Incident on Saturday night. We went in blind, and what a decision that turned out to be. Their guitar melting sound mixed with funk, disco and jazz was something else.

But the main reason for making this post is to thank the wonderful people in front of us along with the people on the bus to and from the event. Big beards and big hearts. They sorted me and my friend our with caps and we had a blast. When another brick in the wall came on (the onlh song i knew) I had a moment in which I couldnt believe my luck. Loved the band, loved the night. Thank you to the beards that made it special!

I tried using cashortrade, but SCI doesn’t come up as an option to sell? I’ve got 2 passes plus a reserved non-electric campsite if anyone is interested?

I can’t wait! Counting down the days! That is all!

Plenty of bitching about tarpers and territory etc. so I'd like to provide a positive spin. Last night way up high in the amphitheater my family and I enjoyed the show next to a mom and her young girls. First time for these small ones both at SCI and Red Rocks and mom seemed a bit unsure.

From almost the moment they set down, the enthusiasm and support these girls (and mom) received from everybody in the surrounding area was exemplary of who we are. I could not have been prouder. These two girls were showered with attention, stickers, light-up flower crowns, the works!Not to mention how my two boys were regarded, albeit they are a little bit older.

If any of you reading this were there, you know who you are and should feel warm and fuzzy about it!
