I'm on the spectrum myself.

I really think certain cultures in the world were first created and mapped out by autistic people. Specifically high functioning asperger type ones.

Most world cultures are developed by highly intelligent neurotypical people... But not is always the case. ​When You observe, for example, German culture is a lot of nuance to it that is reminiscent of asperger personality and behavior.

Also both a culture and a people. Like for example, American Midwest is comprised mainly of German descendants. American Midwest culture feels very autistic and different than other cultures in America. I have noticed that there is a high ponderance of people who are both German and Midwestern and they themselves come off as autistic acting or adjacent.

Anyone's thoughts?

I'm outside a lot, on purpose. I spend a lot of time on my boat, sleep there several nights a week there, all hatches open no climate control. My house is basically open to the elements, we don't have central air. I've been doing this since May, and I have never felt so comfortable in the summer heat in my life.
We are fucking ourselves up with air conditioning. I get it's needed, I'm no savage, but people refrigerate their homes and then have to treat the outdoors like it's the surface some fiery hostile planet. We really are evolved super well for most of this.

I’ve gotten to the point where I can manage to not smoke while at work anymore, but I can’t even quit smoking for a day. Nic maybe I can quit smoking but weed I need every day. After work it’s the first thing I do.

I'm 18, a straight dude I'm pretty sure and I just watched the Odyssey, look at the guy, chiseled jawline, broad and structured, nice clean shaven look, those perfect brooding and cunning eyes and that perfect hair. Even the way he speaks is genuinely just so mesmerizing, I couldn't stop thinking about him the whole movie, I'm back home now and I still can't stop thinking about him.

I love her and she’s so sweet but she came in my room like 10mins ago to sit on the floor (she’ll usually get up on the bed for a cwtsh) and just… watch me. Occasionally she moves to a different spot but continues watching me. Why is she watching me from a far like that? She doesn’t seem to want anything, only to observe.

I really want a candy apple right now. They’re so good.

Does anyone else partake to help cool off on hot days

Pre-humanity evolved an urge to follow rules. The advantages of forming the underpining of societies, outweighed that it also urged sexual prudishness. The drive to follow rules possibly also triggered language.

Later, a mutation caused some people to be emotionally drawn toward taboo, but to develop that fully only when they hit puberty. The evolutionary benefit of being drawn to the taboo of sex is obvious. This same mutation separately caused an emotion of enjoying freedom from social rules. Romantic love is someone breaking implied social code for you. And necessarily develops along with sex awareness. Another benefit is that the desire to break rules is why only humans have innovation. All human sentience is a struggle between following and disobeying rules. This mutation is also why kinks are taboo in nature.

Autism is a third mutation that pushes back heavily toward following rules. It is hard to mesh with people who don't see the rules of the world as *heavy* as they are. Routine is a requirement.

And then autistic me, personally, also don't have a drive to break rules. I just want to know what the damn rules are. But that also means I don't have that genetic urge for freedom from social rules. Ergo, I don't feel romantic love. I don't associate it with my sexual development. I have never seen a man as a path to greater freedom.

I have solved all of human evolution. Naturally, I am the pinnacle.

I get the sudden urge to confess my love. but... I know it will never be, when I'm sober I am glad I didn't confess cuz that would cause unnecessary drama and trouble. I think I just yearn for love.
