News Rules update and moderation
Hi everyone, a few updates on moderation.
The rules have been updated so please take a look.
We are asking that you please:
use post flair. Please recommend any you think would be helpful and we can discuss
include the ingredients list or a quick photo with your posts so that its readily available for the mods and users. This will help with modding post quicker.
If you forget we’ll ask for it but please be mindful of it as this is a new rule we think will be helpful to both mods and sub members.
Also, a relaxation of the rules:
artificial sweeteners are still not allowed and will be labeled as soda/artificially sweetened only if the discourse is helpful/insightful. If it’s intentional posting of diet drinks then the posts will be removed.
naturally sweetened drinks will be allowed so long as their calories are <30 cals (low calorie compared to major diet drinks) and must be flaired as “naturally sweetened”. This includes: sugar, natural fruit sugar, agave, stevia, etc.
salt content will be moderated by allowing the total salt content to be “low sodium” content (<140 mg per FDA guidelines). This may be changed to lower values later but to be more inclusive, we thought this to be ok for the time being. This is only the case for added salt drinks and not naturally occurring salt drinks e.g. spring sparkling water sources.
we will be opting for leaving posts up that are not sparkling water for educational purposes if the discussion looks useful/insightful and OP isn’t just disregarding commentary. Comments will be locked or kept opened bases on this too.
Thoughts appreciated if you have them.

What user flair do you want?
There's so many sparkling water brands hitting the shelves, it's hard to keep track!
What user flair would you like to see? Drop the name below and the mod team will review the list!

Opinion Why the eight pack instead of twelve? I want 12!
All these brands that use to have 12 packs that switched to 8 packs only are irritating me. That's all. Rant over.

Miscellaneous Tonight's baseball lineup for Dodgers/Phillies!
I always drink about 3 cans per game, but if the game goes into extras I'll drink that last can! It's 105 here in Vegas so I always stay hydrated, plus I'm on a diet 🤷🏽♀️🤣

Opinion A sparkles oasis uncovered. A new fav acquired
First I found topos - what a win! Then another cooler had Saratoga - awesome. Husband grabbed a Rambler on a whim.
Guys… Rambler is THAT girl🙌🏻 I think I saw someone post about it a while back but never followed up. Whatever this mineral blend is, it is delicious! And the bubbles are quality. I’m so happy with this unexpected haul

Review Not Beer variety pack found at Sam's Club

Got it today. I just tried the red, white and blue. Very disappointed. I think it's supposed to have a similar flavor profile to Bubly melted ice pop. I only get a very slight lime flavor and the carbonation is very, very low. I hope the other flavors are better. Bubly isn't great either but it's better than this.
I haven't tried the lemon lime or black cherry yet. Hopefully they are better
Anyone else try these?

Review I’m drinking a couple of these per day. My top flavor rn
Target’s (Good & Gather) Watermelon Lime is hands down the best flavor I’ve had in a long time. The flavor profile xand carbonation is absolutely perfect and hit the spot after a meal. Try and it and let me know what y’all think. I’d love to hear your guys’ thoughts on this flavor!

Review Blackberry Cucumber is a bottom-tier flavor
I’ve been fairly passionate of my distaste for Spindrift Pineapple and La Croix Limoncello, crowning both of them my least favorite. But this flavor has dethroned them. It tastes nothing like cucumber nor blackberry, it’s more like static that mellows into a bitterness that coats the tongue. I can’t detect anything remotely good about it. At least with the pineapple and limoncello I finished the box, this will be gifted to a relative or something. 0/10.
I’m pretty surprised about how bad it is.
Edit: correction. I did give limoncello away.

Drink of the day Finally tried the infamous Nixie Lime Ginger
Caved and bought a case of these. I have heard the rave reviews. I popped a few of them into the fridge to chill and tried one a while later. It wasn’t completely cold yet and bizarrely it tasted just like a margarita! I tried a second one when it got ice cold and whoa: crisp, refreshing, and it tasted now tasted like those ginger beers that have that strong ginger taste! It’s just carbonated water, organic lime and organic ginger flavors. and These are excellent. I didn’t think something could dethrone the Polar Ginger Lime mule as my favorite Lime, but these take the cake! Sorry Polar, you’re still my favorite overall brand and Ginger Lime Mule is still excellent. 10/10 no notes!

Opinion Thanks to everyone for the recommendation
I can taste this one! Perfect for a hot summer day with that nostalgic rocket pop taste.
This is the flavor I expected from the Bubly version.
Ingredients: carbonated water and natural flavors

Haul! Best replacement for topo Chico from Walmart
Walmart has been stocking these daily and selling for $11 for a 12 pack of glass bottles. 100% worth it and I find it as a win every time they have them in stock.

Miscellaneous Rambler score at my local Amish grocery store
Got both of these Rambler 8 packs for $1.60 each. I don't believe they carry them at regular grocery stores in my state, I've never seen them before! I believe this Amish store gets surplus grocery items shipped in from a bulk company, so they carry lots of different small brands from around the country. Can't beat the price, I'm sure they're way more than this retail. Excited to try them. I'm hoping the mineral taste isn't too strong.

Question Polar Online ordering- anyone successful?
Hey all!
I live in West Michigan and cannot find Ginger Lime Mule Polar anywhere. The one store that carries it per the website is always out.
When I check online it just takes me to the Amazon store which is stupidly over priced and not what I want.
Am I missing a way to order certain flavors!? I think I've read BJs carries some (or maybe that was Rambler) but that's not near me either.
Thanks water fiends!

Discussion RIP: Which discontinued flavors do you miss the most?
Which discontinued sparkling water flavors do you miss the most?
Here's my list:
- Blueberry Waterloo – My all-time favorite sparkling water. I've tried other blueberry flavors, but they almost always mix it with pomegranate, hibiscus, or something else. Nothing has come close to the simple, clean blueberry flavor Waterloo had.
- Orange Bubly – My second all-time favorite. It was just pure, sweet orange. While plain orange sparkling water still exists in a few regions, there aren't any major national brands selling a straightforward orange flavor anymore. Orange Cream Bubly just isn't the same, and most orange-vanilla combinations taste medicinal or leave a strange aftertaste.
- Good & Gather Tropical Splash – This was like a light, refreshing fruit punch. It didn't lean heavily on grapefruit or mango like so many tropical sparkling waters do, which made it unique.
- Apple Bubly – Not my absolute favorite, but it was a nice change of pace. I wish Waterloo would make a simple apple flavor instead of adding so many spices or dessert notes. I really wanted to love Spiced Apple and Caramel Apple Pie, but they tasted more like candles than fresh apples.
- Good & Gather Yuzu Mandarin – A solid flavor and probably the closest replacement I found for Orange Bubly. It wasn't quite as good, but then Target discontinued it too.

It was just lacking.
