Just bought a 2026, hyundai sonata SEL sport with the light silver /gray seats. Although I think they look fantastic, I think I screwed up because they're too light in color. Can anyone recommend a fitted exact fit seat cover for the front end back seats? Thank you.

Hey everyone, my first time posting here. I recently bought a Sonata SEL sport and i love the car from every aspect but there is this one small issue where the doors vibrate whenever i play some music with a little bass. I have tried different sound settings but it wouldnt go away. Has anyone else felt the same issue or is it a problem with my unit only. Is it normal or should i take it back to the dealership and try to get it fixed. Thank you

I’m going to be honest I always thought the Ford fusion was the sexiest non-German sedan. When I got this 2022 hybrid SEL, as much as we love the tech and the room, it was just a regular car for my wife. But once I realize that this was one of the most reliable Hyundai’s out there, I decided I was going to keep it for the long haul. Fixed her little dents, tinted the windows, detailed it and cleaned it up and now it’s one of my favorite cars. I mean, look at that thing? Tell me that’s not sexy.

My 2018 Sonata SEL (2.4L Engine, 6 Speed Automatic) with 54K Miles is struggling with proper gear shifts when driving under 40 Miles/Hour - It mostly shifts too slow, and under 20 mph the engine rides like it is about to stall out. I'm not a 100% certain but this started happening after the ECU upgrade for emissions improvement (Service Campaign 9C2) a few months ago. The fuel economy is also down the drain. I used to get 25-27mpg in the city, and now it is 22MPG at best. Anybody have similar experiences? Any recommendations for fixes please?

I really don't want to purchase another Sonata after my last one's engine blew up. Yeah, I know the engine is different, well I'm only looking for a new car because the engine blew up and they aren't covering it. Unfortunately the Honda & Toyota tax is way too expensive.

The ultimate red paint and dark gray and camel leather interior go really well together. The seats are very comfortable, and the ride is smooth.

So I bought this car last year for $3100, since then I’ve had to put new spark plugs and plug wires, ignition coils, and most recently, a new crank position sensor. I know nothing about my cars, but my mechanic neighbor has been helping me out. After we put the new crankshaft position sensor on it, the check engine light was still coming on. If you started the car, and lightly eased onto the gas, the car would be fine, but if you went a little heavier on the gas, it would start to misfire. I believe it starts to misfire when getting to higher speeds/rpms as well. Does anybody have any idea of what the problem may be? The mechanic neighbor told me it was likely a timing problem or an issue with the car’s computer. The car is an 03 Hyundai sonata with the v6 engine. Thank you

almost 2 years , this car has been so good to me

The title is funny but it's true, i know that these GDi Engines are prone to decreased oil, and suicide, but this 2015 is special, it's pretty, low spec i admit, the trim it called Style, it's the base model in South Korea, this one has 500k Km, about 300k Miles on the original Engine and transmission, all because of the Engine, it's called the CVVL Engine, I'd like to share the story of this car because i think it might be interesting to some Hyundai experts, or if you've owned one, the north American variants and korean variants are like 2 different completely different cars, small things like the eyebrow DRL, or the Engine, there's differences, the brown leather interior, i don't think that's an option in the US, but i wish all Hyundais sold in the US didn't have the pesky GDi Engines, goes for Kia as well, Hyundai in America would be right up with Honda and Toyota, and Hyundai would have crazy reputation there, the 2015 Sonata in Korea is available with a 2.0L CVVL Engine, about 170 HP, 0 - 100 Kmh is 8 seconds, top speed is 227 Kmh, it's nothing special, you also have a DOHC Engine, similar numbers to the CVVL, both are bulletproof either way, now there are GDi variants I wont lie but there rare in Korea, i wanna explain the specs of my Sonata and share them with you, obviously the CVVL Engine is the first thing I'll get off my mind, Even tho it's the base trim it has side mounted blinkers, (on the fender not on the mirrors, that's a trim up) rear parking sensors and a reversing camera which has solid quality for a 2015 Car, the screen has Bluetooth not touch operated it's a small screen, all i know is that it's 5 - 4 inches, kind of a cursed size with a reversing camera lol, i put a 9 Inch screen on my particular Sonata, the base model has no sunroof of any kind, no front sensors or headlight washers, those are again, higher trim levels have that, the base model does come with leather interior and a soft touch dashboard, 16 Inch alloys, parking brake is a pedal sadly but it's better then an electronic one still, now for the crazy part, there are 6 Speed manual Sonatas there, crazy i know, mine has a regular torque converter automatic 6 speed transmission, basic but indestructible, it has LED eyebrow style DRLs, although with halogen low and high beams, as well as halogen fog lights (which are standard), but you can always upgrade those, i could rant forever but man there special, also for your information the DOHC and CVVL Engines are available on higher trim levels which is great, i also change the oil every 6000 KM, sometimes 5000, that's about 3000 Miles, it has Traction control as standard and ABS and a few other safety features, I'm free to answer any questions about it, and no it's now for sale my bad, i made it seem like it's for sale all from the stupid paragraph i wrote,

For the ‘24 Sonata Limited, is there a way to change the color of the car that shows on the backup camera to match the color of your actual car?

Someone mentioned you can customize your image that shows up in the app. Mine was just blank so I tried it.

Now my car user account shows up as the image I want for my car when I sit down to drive lol 😂

Then randomly this worked the next day after that happened.

Anyone else get fixed?

I purchased the following muffler and exhaust tip for my 2025 Sonata SEL I didn’t want anything too loud but something definitely louder and deeper than the stock muffler. Will update the post with sound clips once installed. the downturned tip is to clear the bumper as I don’t want to cut a hole for a visible exhaust tip. does anyone know around how much a shop would charge to cut off and weld a muffler?

I see the Sonata has AWD now. I'm thinking about trading in my 2013 Sonata for a newer model and want AWD. $2k seems perfectly reasonable for the option but has anyone had any problems with it?

Does anyone know if the 2016 Hyundai Sonata came with apple car play and anyone know if you can take the head unit out of a higher speck car and put in a base mobile version and it be able to work the same.( Ik that some features wouldn’t work I’m just looking for Apple car with out going aftermarket to work sense my car didn’t have)
