Hello! The second most popular MMO game, "Old School RuneScape", just added a vegan game-mode option into their quarterly poll. And it could be big for animal rights exposure to the public.

Previously, players tried playing OSRS with self-imposed rules like not eating animal food for healing, not killing animals, not wearing leather, etc. And now it has been noticed by Jagex (game publisher).

I encourage everyone who plays it to take a survey and vote in favour of a vegan game-mode being added. If it passes, it can bring a lot of publicity to animals since the game is so big and also set a precedent for other games (previously OSRS made a precedent for hardcore modes for many other games already).

Quick rundown for anyone who missed the last post: We're building a socialist Cuba on a WW1-era Minecraft earth server with custom guns, artillery, and a GDP system. We have deeper worker governance and other things, but if you wish to know more of the technicalities then find our previous post.

Since then, there have been a few updates.

First, the funny one. Spanish leadership has been caught privately giving explicit orders for people to DM Cubans and try to get them to turn on the nation in exchange for riches. The spies aren't subtle, they have clear tells, and they're also not going to get near important info anyway, given that access is earned. The whole saga seems a bit pathetic. Their colonial ambitions move past the simple desire for land, given that Colombia founded their nation within Spanish-claimed territory and were rewarded with alliance. This is solely about pride and commitment to the bit, and from certain conversations, that's the take plenty of other "powerful nations" share. Anyways, its been fun to watch them scramble as our member count ticks up.

Secondly, I did not clarify that the server isn't live yet. It releases on the 31st. The reason we've made these posts so early is because everything happening right now, our nation, our constitution, the government, roles, is us preparing ahead of that date, so that when we drop in, we're ready to defend Cuba instead of scrambling. That prep means a lot given that we already have Spaniards (and fascist Italy) hurling aggressive slogans before we've even placed a block.

Third, to be clear for anyone who doesn't know if they'll fit in: This is for everyone. You don't need to be deep into theory or even interested in the LARP side of things. Most of what we will be doing is just Minecraft with a few aforementioned features. If you do want to bring theory and tactics into it, genuinely go for it. But casuals are just as valuable to us as anybody interested in the politics.

More detail is in the discord since Spain is reading this post, but just know that not everything sensitive gets posted openly there either, given the spying and stuff. New members earn access by proving themselves with whatever they offer the nation.

i was in the market for a new budget controller and found out logitech is included in several palestinian boycott database websites due to the israel military using the f310 controllers to pilot their drones. apparently russia used it too for the same purpose and logitech stopped shipping their products to russia in 2022. no mention of doing the same with israel.

edit: whether they directly supply israel, i didn't find any evidence of it. but they did stopped shipping their controllers and later their products to russia in 2022, and haven't done the same with israel.

gaming controllers in general especially the major brands are frequently used to control drones. since most of us already familiar with microsoft being a target, i'm sharing this finding about logitech too.

The game would be heavily inspired by The Misadventures of Tron Bonne game on PS1. Where you'd play with different gameplay styles to help Ron and Desiree steal from the 1%. The main gameplay would feature stealth mode missions with Ron, and Desiree serving as the muscle. In the climax of the game you steal the greatest prize of all; a list containing several big-name rich people and politicians with tangible evidence linking these people to disgusting crimes committed on a secret island.

I posted about Socialiskigrad here a couple of months ago, and thanks to all the feedback I've made a lot of improvements. I'm happy to announce that the first open playtest will be available from August 7 to August 11.

Socialiskigrad is a city builder and management game set in a fictional post-socialist Balkan republic during the 1990s. Your task is to build a socialist country while balancing the economy, public services, energy production, corruption, propaganda, and the everyday needs of your citizens.

The playtest is completely free, and I'd love to hear your feedback to help improve the game before release.

A few of us started a project on GeoFront, a WW1-era geopolitical Minecraft server with a full Earth map, custom guns and artillery, and a real GDP-driven economy.

We didn't want another server nation where "socialism" is just a flag and a red color scheme. So we actually wrote it into the constitution. Every citizen who joins gets guaranteed a home and land, the tools to start whatever work they choose, and a share of the nation's resources, not as charity, but as a right written into the founding document, insofar as the state can afford it. Production, local taxation, and resource distribution aren't decided by us at the top, they're decided by Worker Councils made up of the people actually doing the work. Councils elect and recall their own leaders. Any official who fails the people under them can be recalled by petition. And the articles guaranteeing all of this are explicitly protected, they can't be quietly repealed later by whoever's in charge.

We're leaning all the way into it. We've started naming ourselves after the people who actually did this for real, Guevara, Castro, Gramsci (he's Italian so we let him off), and we're looking for more comrades to pick up a name and a role. It's become genuinely one of the more fun bits of the whole project.

The reason we need people now specifically: a monarchist Spain has laid claim to our territory and is actively pushing to expand into it. We could use builders, fighters, and organizers who actually want to see a socialist project survive contact with a server full of empires and crowns trying to reclaim the world for themselves.

If you're into the idea of an actual worker-governed nation, not just cosmetically red, on a server with real custom weapons and a real economy, and you like the idea of helping push back a monarchist land grab while you're at it, come join us!

As the title says, I am very much convinced, that I am in between very few players that utilize Socialist Realism (An architectural style developed under Stalin), but hope not

Socialist Realism is grand, awe-inducing and is about wide boulevards, greenery and verticality.

All I see, are castles, cathedrals, but no SocReal. And SocReal even fits the fantasy so.

So I grew up playing Black Ops 1 and 2 and they were my entire life for a solid 4 years. During some of the hardest years of my life.

Now that they've been ported to PS4/PS5 I'm reliving my nostalgia and HOLY SHIT was it always this bad????

The amount of times people have opened their mic SOLELY to say some kind of slur is fucking shocking. Was it always to this level and I was just looking through rose tinted glasses?

He is the god of revolution, liberator of slaves and overthrows the monarchy in Oblivion (even if another monarchy replaces it.) Not perfect by any means obviously but better than the aedra which exist to uphold the empire.
