Our Parangons warsuits !

What are your thoughts about them ??

Pros :

At first, I was not a fan of the model, but now I find them really interesting as heavy infantry models.

Really strong in-game and useful due to our lack of heavy infantry units.

Cons :

The look isn't the best honestly, there was more potential for heavy nuns than warsuits.

The poses are.... A bit boring and not dynamics.

Started on a last unicorn themed sisters army (to face off against my glowing red and blue night lords) and I couldn’t help but turn this model into a reference to Schmendrick the Magician. (S)he shall be leading purple and lilac novitiates painted to look like Lady Amalthea in her gown. Still trying to think which units/models to turn into Molly Grue. Possibly going a harpy route for my Seraphim & Celestine

So I’m trying to improve my miniature painting by learning to blend colors and I’m practicing it on capes. My question is when it comes to the recesses should it have any tone from the edge highlight, or should I do a middle layer between the raised edge and the recess mixing the two?

Just venting, but it needs to lose 50 points or give it back its extra miracle die!!

Preparing army to my local tournament. Very fast painting - took about 5-6 total due to wholly drybrushing red parts with 3 colors (from dark to bright red).
A slight edges chipping gave a good finished look as for me with a cheap battle damage effect.

Celestine's Miraculous Intervention survived the Healing nerf! If she gets precisioned out, she'll come back as part of the same unit and still be able to revive Seraphym, Zephyrim or her Geminae!

Hey all! I’ve played HM pretty much exclusively but now that BOF is 2DP I’m wondering what everyone is cooking up?

It gives the unit stealth and stealth is the benefit of cover so it does not stack with cover.

The -1 to hit is restricted to melee attacks.

While I understand the change, it is a bit silly that a giant flying throne / pulpit grants a infantry unit stealth. 😂

All things considered, I think I prefer the lower point cost and will go with stealth.

I used to do ww2 reenacting so I always picture medics with lots of bags and lighter armored.

To that end I kit bashed three hospitallers using Cadian parts and novitiate bodies. My home brew Ordo is one that works a lot with IG, so I thought including Cadian parts made sense in universe.

Now that I’ve put them together I’m starting to second guess. A lot of it is that these are my first kit bashed models. I’m happy with them but people that I show don’t seem to react in anyway.

Should I have just gone with a standard Hospitallers or does she look okay?

Directly inspired by the Sin City tutorial from Chewie Painting. The goal is to get proficient at replicating this effect quickly across a ton of infantry models… wish me luck.

The idea was to split the BSS with the immolator, use 5 to hold home and 5 to drive around be annoying

Put the Dominos in the Rhino and make use of the firing deck

Hold the center with Sacresants

And threaten the back line with hit and rund Seraphim's

Should i drop Sacresants and take Insidiants to get 30 extra points (20 would go to Dominion melta's or 30 to Paragon multi-meltas).

I feel like a need more characters (Hospitaller,Canonnes,Palatine)?

The rules update mentions that debuffs have been capped at 1 in most cases. So for example you cannot have -1 BS stack with -1 to hit is the example they give. So does this mean AoF got hit with their -1 to hit strat being limited to infantry only AND now it doesnt stack with being in cover? They also had all their good strats go to 2 Cp. Is it gg for AoF?

2nd Squad of Insidiants referenced on my previous post. After a few games with them, Purple squad did outperform pink squad, but Purple squad did get a Priest leading them (which will be the next post from me) Fun bunch of models to paint!
