They continue to send emails offering a free visit and a $50 grocery gift card.
Whatโs in it for them?

Driver's beware. On the E 26th street bridge over I229, a Caucasian teenage boy riding a bike wearing shorts and a blue hoodie is throwing rocks off the bridge onto cars passing below. He shattered my windshield and sent glass flying through the cabin.
This was about an hour ago I already filed a report but on the off chance anyone sees him riding around tonight near the area could you please report it.

Thank you to the city of Sioux Falls for fixing a street light.
One of the lights where I walk my dog was out. Wasn't even sure if it was something I could report. There was an easy form on the website. The light was fixed 2 days later.
Rosie and I say thanks!

Requiring me to scan a QR code to get in line as a walk in is crazy.
Having limited cell service inside the building after requiring me to scan a QR code is crazy.
Closing for 2 hours in the middle of the day is crazy.
Moving locations and making the process more complex and services difficult to access, while INCREASING wait times is crazy.
Shouldn't the move of locations have been the moment in which the city improves capacity and systems for our growing population? How can it be so bad now? It was fine for decades.

Hey all! The South Dakota LEGO User Group (SODALUG) is hosting their 3rd annual LEGO Fan Expo at the Sioux Falls Convention Center this weekend (July 25th and 26th) from 10-5pm each day. We have over 250 custom built LEGO art pieces on display from over 80 creators throughout the Midwest and West Coast.
There are a ton of activities like scavenger hunts, building stations, vendors, and a chance to help us create a 36,000 piece mosaic of SD Landmarks.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids, the proceeds help fund LEGO events throughout the community at local schools and libraries.
Hope to see you all this weekend at Brick Falls!

A friend of mine worked at one of the hospitals for years but had to quit due to some personal reasons and they couldn't give a 2 week notice. They are now able to go back to work but they're unsure if they'd be able to apply at either of the hospitals again.
Has anyone been marked ineligible for rehire and was eventually able to get rehired at their previous hospital in a different department?
If they apply for a job at the other hospital, will they get denied due to HR marking no on the eligible for rehire question?
If you or someone you know had to do this same thing and couldn't get back into either, how was your experience in getting another job somewhere else?

Iโm curious to all the film makers on how you find actors for your projects. Iโve done a few commercials, a short movie, and stage work. Itโs been a while since Iโve done anything because we had kids and so I put all that on the back burner. Now we are at a good place for me to get back into all of that. I used to have great connections to get into things, but a lot of that has faded a bit. Iโm trying to get out more now with performing so I can get my face out there so I can potentially get asked to do something or audition. Do you all post auditions online, rely on people you know, or go find talent at open mics, or other stage work?
Any information would be much appreciated. Acting is something I really love to do and very passionate about.

I stumble upon this proposal taking place, while sitting on the stone bench( upper level of the Sioux falls) congratulations to the newly engaged couple. I did not want to interrupt your moment and I hope these photos makes their way to you.

Looking for a place that does dry needling focused on pelvic floor health for men.
If anybody has any experience or knows of someone and can offer me help it's greatly appreciated. Trying to get this thru the VA is proving really problematic.

I'm moving to SF at some point. I would like to get into guns and do everything properly. I am an absolute beginner so I'm interested in knowing about what permits I need when I travel out of SD and where to get classes/lessons to learn properly.
additionally, in regards to winter what store in SF do you guys suggest for good winter clothing. I don't own any, so I've been warned if I move to a cold state, not to go cheap on good winter clothing.

Looking for recommendations on where to find designer or higher end items at thrifting prices? Iโm not talking $1-$2, but not prices Iโd pay originally for them. I frequent St. Vincentโs and Savers but Savers is getting to be overpriced.
Where are your favorites? What brands have you found? Iโm just curious what the Midwest even has to offer when it comes to designer brands even being available around here.

Looking for local left-leaning gun owners to do range time with. Hoping to build a community. Maybe you're thinking of getting a gun, but don't know where to start? I can help with that.
Edit: I am assuming an outdoor range, as they are a flat fee ($25 or less for the day). First-timers could get an introduction. I understand it can be an intimidating environment, as someone on the left myself, I can tell you it isn't nearly as bad as you think. Most ranges discourage political ANYthing. Often you have a decent level of privacy.
I can put a list together of ranges, cost & minimum requirements if anyone is interested in a short meetup at a local establishment to decide where/when. Anyone unfamiliar with shooting or ranges would benefit from a heads-up on the details.
If interested, go to r/SiouxFalls2A4All to join this community

Hey all
My boyfriend got his motorcycle stolen sometime last night between midnight and 6am.
If you have seen anything suspicious, possibly seen it in the back of a truck or anything, or know of any businesses in the surrounding area with a street-facing camera, please DM me ASAP. Police have already been notified.

Hello!
My parents' house needs a lot of work done. New siding, flooring, paint, elevated deck, and at least two bathroom renovations. They've been putting off these projects for a long time. They want to hire one person to handle everything, instead of dealing with multiple companies.
Does anyone have any recommendations of good, trustworthy contractors or companies?
On the flip side, is there anyone they should stay away from?
I'm trying to help them with the process, but none of us have any idea where to start.
Thanks in advance!!

I just moved to Sioux Falls (age 20)with my mom and Iโm already feeling really lonely. I canโt drive due to a psychiatric disability so I canโt go to any social events. I was really excited to get involved with the local queer community but my attempts to do so havent been working out. What should I do? Would anyone be interested in chatting on discord? I have nerdy interests and like to play games and watch movies with people! I also love sharing music!
