Wondering how much it's worth. Any ideas? Where does one go to sell these sort of things? Was excited to keep it at first but it is hard to level on our basement carpet images here

I am putting a small game room in my unfinished basement. I always liked shuffleboard so I am hoping to find a table. 11-14 feet would be ideal for my space. I do not want to spend a ton of money currently so I am curious how bad the ones at amazon are? Like the Vevor style. I get they don't have a real wood top and was wondering how bad they are. There are not many used boards near me that I am finding for sale to try and get a decent setup. Max budget is about 1k.

I have a California house shuffleboard table. I believe either 12 or 14 feet long. The place it’s from “Peter’s billiards” said this model is no longer made and it’s worth around 15k today. I’m looking to sell it. A board like this takes a very niche person to want to buy it. Anyone know what it would be able to resell for? I’m in MN. It’s in great shape and hardly used.

Spent all day fighting machines to get a cut recipe consistent on these, but eventually pulled it off (I hate steel). Goal was a design that is an obvious eye catcher while maintaining consistent performance and functionality. This prototype has an R20 curvature and comes in at 306 grams. Caps are 18 and 38 respectively for light and heavy versions, so should come in just under margins. It has a vertical "impact zone" band around the side, and aggressive angled faces above and below. 

S7 tool steel, I believe his plan is to get them hardened and then treated, not sure if that means chromed or another option. If you see them out in the wild, give a shout!

It’s a 14’er brand new. We’ve tried spraying silicone and using more or less sand. The pucks are plowing the sand/wax. What are we missing?

Not a typo - I have a 17ft shuffleboard I bought from a house that was being sold. more info on the board itself below for anyone curious, but I’m wondering if anyone knows of a good business that refinishes shuffleboards. If the price isn’t too crazy, thinking about having it sanded down and refinished so it’s like brand new. I’m outside of Pittsburgh.

About the table - the board itself measures 17ft, the entire table a little under 19ft. I dont have many details and there’s no brand/sign on the table, but from looking at it and googling it looks like it’s from the American Shuffleboard company, likely manufactured in the late 40’s. I think it was originally made as 22ft and cut to size to be sold commercially. It’s maple wood. I have the pucks that came with it, which are American shuffleboard and look ancient, I’ve found similar pucks online that are labeled as being from the 40’s. It doesn’t have climactic adjusters underneath, but the board still looks really good and doesn’t seem to have buckled at all. Not sure if I want to install any

Machinist here - a local machinist asked us to play around with some ideas for new cap configurations, here's what we came up with. Disclaimer - never played shuffleboard in my life until today!

He wanted to get away from the adjustable weight system, so we simply made different cap sets with about a 20g difference between the two, and much more aggressive edging for better grip. We also wondered about an assymetric weight and how that would perform, so knocked a few of those out as well. Super fun project, enjoyed getting to know more about this hobby!

I have a shuffleboard table that we are going to set on a built in unit attached to the wall. The way we framed the built in I will have to move the stabilizers underneath? Is there anything to be concerned with? Are these adequate to since I'm moving should I take the time to change to the style with one large bolt connecting each side?

We're not that serious and I know very little about shuffleboard. Thank you for any guidance!

Hey guys. I'm researching shuffleboard tables to buy for my new house and I've got 3000 sqf of space in my basement as a dedicated space for movies games etc so I don't really have any space constraints.

I'd like to get a shuffleboard table for the space and am trying to decide between 14'-22' which length would be ideal for home use and casual play with friends. I don't intend to be a professional tournament player ever but I do want something that will last a long time and be enjoyable when people come over.

I've heard the 'get the longest length you can get' arguments, but I'm also wondering for casual play among friends and family which would actually be the most enjoyable length.

Hello my name is Joe, after the death of my wife and daughter in that horrible crash I turned to politics but that's behind me now. Looking to get into a fun hobby at my old age and think shuffle boarding could be the answer, any tips on newcomers.

We finished sanding down the table and this table had no markings before we started. I did attempt at one point to place lines down at random using tape but it didn't hold.

Was looking at painting lines before polishing it up. I have been looking for rules for where to mark the score lines on it but have had no luck

Approximately 100 year old board. Played on a lot! Looking for recommendations to get it properly restored. Western Pennsylvania. Any help appreciated.

I run a shuffleboard league at a local brewery, I am not affiliated with the brewery so massive procedures and risk of ruining the table are not an option.

The table is an American Shuffleboard Company table, likely 20-22ft long. The surface is rough, not lacquer finished. Recently the brewery put new powdered wax down and it has made the table horrible, I've learned they used the wrong stuff. They put on Sun-glo 6. I have purchased Sun-glo 2 Tournament Gold to replace it with. But I want to know if there is more I can do. On the Shuffleboard federation page I saw some table cleaner, polish, and silicone spray. However with the table not having a lacquer finish, I don't think those will help me and may risk causing damage to the table I can't fix.

Any help or insight?

I’ve inherited this 1970’s table from a family friend. It came with these roller pucks that need to be replaced, anybody have a lead on where to get these? Amazon has the mini roller pucks for the table top games, but I can’t find the full sized ones.

I’ve also tried other pucks and sand, but no matter what I do the pucks won’t stay on the board, regardless of the weight of the throw.

I looked some up on Amazon and they were all 9 feet and less than $1000. I would expect that a high quality and a sturdy one would cost more, we are a sports bar and it would need to be sturdy.

is 9 feet the standard? can you get them bigger?

what else should I know?

I recently acquired a California house loft shuffle board table. It’s a 14 footer. The guys at the store told me I need speed 3 sand which is what I have. If I ever have a puck near the side it will fall off everytime. It does have those cracks which made me to believe it was curved too far inward. However with the pucks falling off the side what do you think?

A few years ago I bought a shuffleboard table on Ebay, Instead of the regular 1,2,3 format in rows, This table has a triangle area, Numbered 1 in the front, Followed by two 3s in the next section, Then 10 in the back, I can't seem to find anything like it online. Does anyone have any information, Or know anything about a table like this ?

Got a 12’ Hathaway from Amazon recently. It came with a white shaker of “speed wax”. I’ve tried sprinkling it on thinner and thicker, but keep getting inconsistent play. Sometimes pucks glide effortlessly, other times they get hung up within a couple feet of sliding. Do I need better wax/silicoln? Better pucks? Not sure where to start troubleshooting.
