This weekend I was getting high with a friend and I tried to show him a YouTube video I found years ago. Go figure I had deleted the playlist I had it saved in and couldn’t find it. Now it’s driving me nuts cuz I want to find it.

If any of you happen to know the video I’m talking about, I’ll love you forever if you reunite me with it😂

Here’s what I remember:

1) “Brain in a Fish Tank” by Shpongle is playing in the background for the entirety of the video with no other songs present

2) I found this video back in 2020 and it was already a couple months to years old.

3) Among many other shifting 3D scapes, it contained very close structures to the pictures attached to this post which I found from a different video.

Tales of the Inexpressible is mine. Its songs flow well together and have good consonance while also providing that crazy Shpongle sounds and rhythms.

I was listening to behind closed eyelids. This is probably like my 20th listen. For the first time when I focused super hard on the hi-hats my eyes would feel like they were involuntary blinking to the beat. While my eyes were closed. And when they sped up my eyes actually started vibrating. Never blinked that fast before and my eyes were literally shut so wtf. Anyone else experience this ? Actually really freaked me out. Also I’m sober so wtf shpongle.

god I've been feeling so differently since I found Shpongle 3 months ago, when I listen to their albums I feel like I'm smoking weed and getting high (I've never felt that before, even when listening to music) , and last week I've been listening to Shpongle so much that it started worrying me. it really felt like an addiction. I decided to give myself a break from Shpongle and I haven't listened to them for two days so far, but for two days straight my brain has been playing their music in the background and I don't even realise how I'm constantly playing their music in my head. It legit feels like I'm having Shpongle withdrawal, I've been feeling so weird and tired for those last two days, I want to listen to Shpongle so much, but I must endure. listening to other music helps a bit but I still keep thinking about Shpongle and playing it in my head. Just saw a comment from Simon’s official Facebook account saying that there might not be a FULL Shpongle 7 album.

Not sure if he would be against me posting this, hopefully not, but I thought I’d come ask if this was common knowledge already, or is this your first time hearing about this?

I’m still excited and can hardly wait for it, but I can’t help from wondering if it’s going to be different or still similar to previous albums. Either way, it’s obviously going to be great, but I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it.
